"Been going here for six years. Tu does an excellent job on acrylic nails and dip powder nails. He also does elegant and creative nail art designs. I receive many compliments every time. All employees do great pedicures as well."

"REALLY BAD customer service! It was my second time in this place, the first time the female employee listened to what I was pleasantly asking. Second time not so much, I went to get a deep powder manicure, and I was asking questions to see what suited my needs at that time. They seem to not like when people ask pricing questions or tell them how they like their nails done. The male employee gave me attitude and sent me home with incomplete nails because I told him the customer has the right to ask for the exact service they will be paying for. After he asked me if I still want the nails done? and I thought he will be a professional he didn't finish the nails edges completely. This employee was very vicious I don't go around insulting people so I kept my composure, but only two days later my nails look terrible (Picture). And I paid for the entire set. This place wont see my money again. Its BAD DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE IN NAILS SALONS INSULTING CUSTOMERS IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGES, AND GIVING ATTITUDE, DISRESPECTING AND DOING A BAD JOB A PURPOSE BECAUSE I RESPECTFULLY TOLD HIM. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself!!!"

"Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve encountered. I’ve been here twice and both times have sucked. The first time, my nails lifted within a week and my pedicure took almost 2hrs. However, I didn’t complain or leave a review. Just gave them another shot. So this time around the same guy did my nails, and he caused me to bleed on two different fingers. All I had done was a fill-in with Gel polish and the total was $55. I immediately asked why and he backtracked and said it’s only $50. I again asked why It was so expensive and he starts yelling at me. I never raised my voice I just kept asking why the price was what it was. He then says it was the length of my nail, then it was because a broken nail (I didn’t have any, I came in with all 10 still on and in tact) Then he said that’s just the price and I had to pay it. The entire Ordeal was embarrassing as there was other people in the nail salon and I was trying to keep my composure While still asking for the price list. He then tells me he should’ve told me the price upfront and I agree but that still doesn’t constitute why a basic fill-in with no designs is $50. Not one time did Tu or any other employees intervene or even tell him to stop yelling. I paid for the service but I will never come here again."

"I moved to va beach two months ago. I am particular about my nails and dreaded the process of finding a consistent and professional location to get my nails done. When I found this place, I began getting services from Tu. I was extremely impressed and thought I had found the perfect place. Tu’s abilities are not in question- rather, it is his professionalism. About two weeks ago, I came in for my appointment and instantly felt awkward once Tu and the other workers began to chatter amongst themselves. I was unsure if I should leave because I did not feel welcome yet needed to get my nails done that day. Eventually, I sat down and Tu later explained that his Niece who also has the same name had attempted to come in but was unable to do to the number of appointments. Therefore, when I arrived they were confused because they had confused her and I( I let it be and went on). On Monday, I came in and was unable to get any service as I did not make an appointment. I made an appointment for Wednesday while I was at the salon. Tuesday, I decided to cancel my Wednesday appointment and made an appointment for ( Tuesday night at 6PM) Tu calls at 5 PM and tells me to come in because he’s 5pm appointment did not show. Unable to make it sooner than 6 PM, I call him and let him know it will be closer to 6. His response is “don’t be late” Traffic is terrible and I show us around 6:10. As I walk in the workers begin to stare and chatters begins. Tu walks out and proceeds to glance at the clock with a sour demeanor. I’m standing their all awkward and I ask if he is able to take me. He angrily repeats “why so late why so late” and throws a hand towel at one of the service tables. I tell him traffic was bad and he says it “6:15. Why so late why so late. Sit. Sit.” so I told him “no thank you, I will go somewhere else”. I had been raving about this place and even planned to add 3 more people to his clientele. I am not sure why anyone who relies on people like myself for business would behave in that manner. It is honestly sad and disappointing. Va beach is full of nail salons and I found one cleaner and more professional. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I will deter my friends from going there."
