"Poor Professionalism, Lack of Accountability, and Non-desire to Correct the Error Admitted To! Ross and a coworker came out to take measurements for a custom shower glass. When interacting with him on at this appointment, I was actually amazed at his poor customer service. In fact, I was under the impression that he felt that he was doing me a favor for letting me hire him! I came away from that encounter with a bad taste. During this short exchange, no discussion on payment was made. The following day, I emailed him on various questions. His replies were always extremely terse. One of those emails that I sent requested information on HOW DO I PAY. I never received a response. Later that day I spoke with my contractor on it and he said not to worry that Ross always took payment at the end. I am a retired Naval Officer, 100% Medically Disabled. I was using the Veterans Administration (VA) to assist in the payment of the shower project to expand it. As a result, I had to work closely with them in order to meet their deadlines. I emailed Ross at the 3.5 week timeline that he required to receive the order and inquired if he could install the glass by 14 Nov, the final deadline that the VA required for completion of the project. Ross's response was "I never ordered the glass, call me." Despite admitting to failing to reply to my initial payment. He continued to deflect blame! I asked him, how did you expect to move forward on the project if you didn't include payment information. I received a lengthy email from him stating his payment policies of which I replied that that would have been excellent information to have on the day he came out to take measurements OR the following day when I inquired about payment, OR a day or two after on his own initiative in order to move forward on the project! Incredible. His replies were non-apologetic AND he finally mentioned that he can't proceed with order until payment is received. Are you kidding me? The gall to think I would continue business with this inept group. The following is my final email response to his payment policy email: Excellent payment information that I wish you had provided when you came out on 18 Oct 2022 to take measurements OR in response to my email the following day (19 Oct 2022) inquiring on PAYMENT OR maybe a day or two after that on your own initiative so you could actually complete the order that you came out to measure for. I do not intend to move forward with you considering your poor professionalism, lack of accountability, and and non-desire to correct your grievous error that you admit to in your email. In fact, my VA Officer is in receipt of this email train and I will implore them to not to do future business with your company. My contractor has also mentioned his great displeasure at your performance here, and he plans on working with another glass company, one with more professionalism and better customer service. Expect a Google Review on your company soon. Completely amazed and utterly horrified."
"When shopping around for a glass door for our newly renovated master bath I solicited 5 different companies for estimates. Damon Glass was the most professional, timely, and best priced out of all of them.. The morning I called for an estimate Ross came that same day to give a quote... before he left, he had given a brochure of the hardware types offered and provided me with an emailed quote within minutes after leaving my house. He told me the glass would take between 10-14 days to arrive. On the 12th day he called and said my glass had arrived and he could do the install the very next day. Installers (Mike and John) arrived right on time and wasted no time getting to work.. install was 110% perfect, the door, the silicone everything was perfect....Day after install I had noticed one small imperfection in the glass and called just to ask a question, that very next workday Ross personally came back out to my house, looked at the tiny blemish and provided a solution on the spot!!! The lowest price is NOT always the best product, however in this case Damon glass company proved otherwise, they really run a well oiled machine of a business... Phone call to estimate, install to service call, this company Is who you want to do business with... I’d attach a picture of my job but the pictures don’t do the quality of craftsmanship any justice. Very happy costumer and have already referred them to numerous friends and co-workers.....Thanks again!!!"
