"My husband called to find out if they had mushroom compost in stock. The girl that answered laughed at him and said, "no we don't carry compost to grow mushrooms here". Keep i mind, we called two others before this one with very friendly service that checked for it. I called back and asked her to check. Got put on hold to be told, "they might sell it in Virginia but it's not something we carry here". Every word from her mouth was said with attitude. We are going to the Chesapeake store to pick up the 8 bags they DO sell there. Your employees should at least know what compost for gardening is. The attitude was ridiculous and totally uncalled for and unprofessional. * Follow up: we got our compost. My raised bed for garlic and fall carrots is good now. We told an employee at the one went to about this interaction. She said that was rude an uncalled for and gave us the manager's name to call again. Not worth it to me. We know where our $ needs to go from now on."

"Most always ask if they can help when I enter the store. Unlike the other larger stores that have all the plumbing supplies like pipe fittings all mixed up in the wrong bins. You have to waste time searching through."

"Every time I have gone in this Moyock location staff is generally pleasant. I would like to point out my experience with the exceptional. Tom is always congenial, if he is at the register he is quick to greet me and if he is working the floor he acts as if he is actually excited I have ask for help. Tom brings to this location talent and expertise. I just moved to the area so I have been in the store at least ten times, every time Tom is there it is an excellent experience not just good but excellent. Thanks a lot!"
