"Nicole was great, she was very helpful and offered great suggestions for the best use of my space. I would highly recommend Nicole and Cabinets To Go to everyone looking to remodel their kitchen."
"We ordered our cabinets in April and received them 4 weeks later. Not only were they damaged but they were mdf. We paid for all plywood. It's been over 3 months and they still haven't sent us the right ones and they will not return our emails or phone calls to rectify the situation. They claimed they wanted to help, yet they won't. They have our money, and we don't have a kitchen. The layout and buying process was easy. Dealing with customer care and trying to find somebody who actually cares about our situation has been a nightmare. We are having to take legal action. Do not buy from this company."
"From fun and friendly to exhausting and disappointed. The store is nice and they have the products they have. The design process is fun and easy to go through. The cabinets are good quality but the attention to detail and customer service AFTER you pay is lacking. The countertop installers damaged the wall during install and that's apparently a routine and to be expected experience that you won't get compensated for. We had to have a plaster worker come out to fix it. We went to the actual countertop warehouse (stone4 kitchen) which besides feeling like there's something illegal going on behind the scenes, was a very nice experience. They are knowledgeable and went out of their way to show us an imperfection in the section of stone and recommended we pick another one. They had someone forklift the slab away so we could look at our piece and pick the exact lay out... Fast forward to install and they gave us the stone with the imperfection. Upon questioning, they said we asked for that piece. So that's fun. The cabinets are nice but we had no hardware for two months because the installer mixed up the placement. We had to put in a claim to find out they forgot to place the new order, twice. When we paid for the hardware the first time they arrived in 3 days, but it took 2 months to get the replacements for their mistake. We actually purchased other knobs to use temporarily. Every time we tried to follow up with the store we were reminded that "it's really not their job" to help us. We also wanted glass doors for a bar section, and they accidentally only ordered and charged us for one glass door, see the picture. The glass door had to be reordered twice because it kept arriving broken, and at each step the store reminded us that they did not make a mistake and that we needed to either order another door or take the door to a local glass shop to have it altered. Considering the nightmare experience this was, you would think they would comp us the other half of the glass door that we obviously were thought we were getting in the first place... But no. Other issues are mostly install related: the side panel next to the fridge isn't attached to anything so if the dog leans on it it bends in. We paid a lot of money for crown molding above the cabinets to go to the ceiling and every place they used a nail you can see where they put the cover paint. They didn't take into consideration the size of the crown on the bar section so it passes the wall and you can see it from the other room which made it impossible to wrap the existing crown along the side. The cabinets aren't centered on the wall. When we were in the design phase we were given a much cheaper price, accidently, twice. And we ended up having to pay more money on top of that. I would never use cabinets to go again. I wanted a custom closet and after that experience I decided to go with The Container Store and they were AMAZING. They sent a few wrong parts and I had the replacements the next day. A human picked up the phone, there was no wait time. When I was transferred, the person stayed with you to get you to the specialist. It's nice to know there are some companies out there doing it right, but cabinets to go isn't one of them."
"I will start with saying the people that work here are very nice and understanding that is why they got 2 stars versus 1 but their products are very low quality and quit expensive. We ordered all of our cabinets around April of 2020, we got our first delivery of 8 cabinets in July, the second delivery of 3 cabinets was in October, the third was in December with 3 cabinets and the last delivery arrived in January. The reason they stated for the delay was due to COVID which I guess I understand. The final delivery of cabinets were damaged when we received them and we decided that it would be easier to just glue them together as best we can rather than waiting another year for more cabinets. We were also sick of seeing the contents of our pantry on our dining room table for almost a year. We also had to reschedule the countertop installation several times. The insides and outside of the cabinets were different colors, the grays of the cabinets didn't match, the pullout drawers we ordered from them for our specific cabinets needed to be rigged to get them to fit by adding shims, and the pegs holding the doors together were visible and not painted all of which are seen in the pictures. One of the doors already has a chip in the paint and we have barely had them a month and we have been going very easy on them because we want them to last and not sure how long they will at this rate. I wanted matching cabinets for our master bathroom but that will not be happening. This was too much of an ordeal to pay 9000$ plus on them, we would have been better off going with the custom cabinet quote. Live and learn I guess."
"I'm normally not one to make reviews, but feel that this company and it's products are certainly deserving of my time to give them credit based off of the other reviews that are present for this store. Most of the time when people respond to surveys and post reviews it's usually because their angry and their reviews are not truly objective; not often do the happy folks take the time to share their feelings. In those responses most of the customers expectations are unreasonable and their issues can sometimes be because of their own shortcomings and lack of understanding and knowledge. Our associate Nate was awesome, he was on point and really efficient in assisting us with choosing the cabinets and configuration to put together an impressive new kitchen for my wife and I. If you have the opportunity to work with Nate I highly recommend it. I'm sure the others do a fantastic job as well, but Nate's attention to our needs and continued follow up through our design and ordering in February to our cabinet delivery and pick up about a week later was exceptional. Thanks Nate for stellar service and assistance! "Go see Nate." I must say that I was a little skeptical of the assemble yourself cabinet and the quality of how they are made. To my surprise I found that they are made of better more solid materials than the made to order cabinets from the big box stores and the pricing was better. I don't care for the fact that they are made in China, but the big box stores cabinets were also made there as well. The assembly was a breeze and in our case all the cabinets were fine, no damage, they were very well packaged and protected from this. The installation was flawless and everything fit perfectly. I contribute this to two things, our associate Nate who as already mentioned was awesome, and us providing exact measurements and details of our kitchen. In our interactions with Nate he expressed that most people had very crude dimensions and measurements available which make their jobs very difficult when designing. So provide good measurements and detailed drawings to ensure a trouble free cabinet install. All in all, this is a much better value than big box store cabinets for the price. Better quality in materials, plywood back and side panels versus press board backs and sides. If you are handy and a good do it your self-er, go see Nate and Cabinets to go. See included before and after pics of our kitchen cabinets. Thanks Nate and Cabinets to go."
