"It was my first visit. I was passing by from a doctor’s appointment. I live forty miles away. First thing I noticed was huge pumpkins for only $3.00. I was disappointed with the bakery area. That was the reason I stopped by. I wanted to buy a few pastries for my grandchildren. I wasn’t surprised though because in Crete, Greece I shopped at Lids and the bakery in the afternoon was empty from sweets. I was surprised how huge it was and organized. I walked around to find the section with European Goods. I noticed fresh produce. Reasonable prices. It’s one stop shop. Goods for every budget. Great variety. I loved to see European Goods. I found the European sweets. Chocolates for $1.00. Cookies for $1.00. I picked two of each. I went through the self checkout and had trouble with my card but a very pleasant employee noticed me so she came over and helped me. In other Stores if something is not going well I have to signal for help. Once in a while I do visit the area because I go to Costco but on my next shopping spree I will stop by Lids."
