"An update to my original review. Last week I went to buy four washers costing $0.62 each. The clerk refused to give me a military discount since I was "just a veteran". He said other employees have gotten into trouble for ignoring that mandate. So corporate has actually doubled down on their practice of denying veterans a military discount despite what you may have heard. I contacted corporate again by email and it's like reaching into a black hole. If you are a veteran just go to Ace Hardware in Grafton. ----------------------- The place is convenient to those of us who live in Poquoson but you will always overpay for that convenience. Also they advertise a military discount but veterans are not considered military, only retirees and active duty. I've complained about this and even written corporate but they don't consider veterans worthy of the 10% discount."
