"Howdyshell put new flooring in my den, where carpet had previously existed. In less than a year, the entire flooring rippled and they were slow to respond to my concerns initially. They did come to look at it and can't explain why this happened nor do they take any responsibility regarding the faulty floors. They ignore my emails and written requests to have this corrected. It will eventually affect the sale of my home. I DO NOT recommend using this company. Another professional suggested that they used wood that was too young and thus the rippling which is very noticeable. You also could spend several thousand dollars and end up with a faulty product if you use Howdyshell. 1/11/2023 Howdyshell continues to not respond to requests for a solution to the faulty flooring. They do not stand behind their word, product or services. 1/27/2023 To be exact, I left a Google review because your company was not responsive to emails that were sent to Steve Iddings on several occasions asking for him to put in writing what he verbally offered me in my home with a witness present. He did not tell us that there was a mold issue in my crawl space on his visit. he did take moisture readings which were in the normal range.......which is why he pressed me about any flooding or rain coming in thru open windows, etc. He did offer to redo the floors at cost of materials when it came time to sell my house. he also said that when the house sells it would be a good time to do that while the house was empty and before new owners moved in. I have asked that he put that in writing and after many months I do not have that, So again, you are not standing by what you say. Also, when I was told in person that you would repair at cost, it sounded as if you have had to do this before. Had your company been responsive, neither of us would be on Google."
