"Thanks to Dr. DePalma and his wonderful staff, I have avoided back surgery for several years. I am almost 50. I consider myself very active, working out 4 to 5 times per week doing cardio and weights. I walk my dog twice a day, love to go salt water fishing with my husband, walk golf courses watching my son play, etc. several years ago I developed severe sciatica and some numbness in my right leg and glute. After determining the cause (stenosis, herniated disc L4 and L5), my ortho surgeon referred me to Dr. DePalma in hopes to avoid surgery. After a very thorough exam, Dr. DePalma recommended steroid injections in my back. He administered the injections step-by-step, walking me through the process as he worked. His nursing staff was amazing and very comforting. In fact, all of his stuff is very kind. I have been symptom-free for several months now, and able to resume all of my activities! I can’t think Dr. Depalma and his staff enough!"

I was an impatient patient and just had to trust the process. Here I am at the end of the treatment plan with almost 100% relief with no pain meds. Yay!"
"Called twice last week to try and make a new patient appointment and got no answer. Left a message for them on July 20th. They promise to get back to you within 24 hours. But it's been a week with no call back. I'm not going to chase a doctor's offiice and beg for an appointment. According to reviews a year ago, they are having phone issues.... If you can't get phones fixed in a year, how do you expect people to think you can fix their pain. Hard pass. I'll make an appointment somewhere else."
"Billing is awful. I started going here in June. Each time I went, they said I would only have to pay a co-pay. Then months after the treatments, they told me my insurance didn't covering and I had a balance. They also said I would have to pay up front for my portion going forward. I paid the past due amount and my out of pocket in August. They then sent me more charges to pay in November which I paid. Then again in December and January. I called and spoke to Morgan in billing and she said she would look into it and get back to me. She never called me back. She just sent a bill with an even higher balance. If you have to go there, request your out of pocket estimate for everything. If they say it's covered, ask for an estimate showing zero out of pocket. It's very unprofessional and unethical to just let balances add up without saying anything because your too lazy to get the estimate and make sure the front person knows the correct amount to bill you. ***Update after speaking with a couple of “supervisors” and reading their response: My biggest complaint through all of this was lack of communication, both verbal and written. 1) It’s not the insurance’s fault that you told me when each extra payment was collected that I had now paid all additional charges from that period. 2) It is not the insurance’s fault that your failed to inform patients that they may be seeing delays up to 4 – 6 months that may cause them to get bills months later - even after already making additional payments for that visit 3) It’s not the insurance’s fault that your office failed to call me back when they were supposedly researching my charges. 4) It’s not the insurance’s fault that the “supervisor” that called me on Tuesday played the blame game as well and refused to even consider responsible requests to prevent this in the future. 5) It’s not the insurance’s fault that you “supervisor” blatantly lied to me on the phone by stating that the office has never once received a complaint about how they handle billing. Other reviews on here prove that she was lying. 6) It’s not the insurance’s fault that you failed to disclose an increase in pricing from your office that will not be covered by insurance 7) It’s not the insurance’s fault that rather than try to make things better with me that you have someone call me yesterday to try and get me to pull my post down, and when I refused, that you misrepresented the situation with your response 8) It’s not the insurance’s fault that you rather be non-reactive and never proactive. The only thing I asked for was transparency and communication. It is not unreasonable to request that I be informed about delays in processing or changes in pricing. It is not unreasonable to request a detailed history of my charges. It is not unreasonable to expect a productive conversation when there is an issue instead of being ignored until I posted a review, then lied to, and finally for you to blame others for your office failing to provide the most basic of customer service."
