"I am absolutely shocked at the service I have received here. I’m a very patient person but it has been tested greatly. I have mat mrs beavers once and she was nice initially meeting her. I came to my appointment on time and she was running late which I understand because of court meeting and other clients so I did my consultation over the phone with her while she was in traffic. Everything went well and I was able to introduce myself once she arrived at the office. She told me to give her two week and if she had any questions she would call me. I was already separated from my spouse for almost a year at this time so I was. Very patient because it takes about a year before you can file if you have kids. Everything went radio silence. I called after a month to see if anything was started and if there were any questions from me. I was met by a gatekeeper receptionist who says constantly she will pass along the information and promises of the lawyer calling me. Which never happened. I periodically contacted the circuit court to see if anything was started so that I wasn’t bothering her and noting was started I asked for a refund about a month ago and an assistant said she just received my file and will start working on it and let me know in two weeks so I decided to be more patient. A month went by and received no follow up no phone call nothing. Today I called again and asked for a refund. They told me they sent my documents last month and is waiting for me to sign them I searched my emails nothing was sent to me and the fact that they let a month go by without calling me asking why I didn’t sign the documents tells me they were lying because I have been calling them many times between that time and now. However I still decided to get a refund because I don’t like the games. If you want someone who will follow up with you and make you feel like a client this place is not the place."

"The worse attorney EVER!! The way my divorce was handled was very unprofessional. Her communication skills are terrible. I was the one who had to always call her to find out where we were during the divorce process. I separated from my husband in March of last year. I saw her on April 2. I was told I had to wait 6 months before I could file. 6 months past.. no communication from her. I ended up calling her in month 7, finally signed the agreement and again I heard nothing. I tried contacting her in November and December. She never returned my phone calls. And then on New Years Day I get an email telling me there was an issue with my divorce. My ex straightens out that issue. My divorce became final in May. I asked her in my initial visit to also file for my name change. I am still waiting for that documentation. I emailed her 6 weeks ago and called the office twice. I was told on my last phone call by her receptionist that I would hear something by end of day. That was 2 days ago. I still haven’t heard anything. At this point I’m just going to file my own name change paperwork. I really felt like she was my husbands attorney and not mines. I’m not going to get into those details as to why because I am exploring avenues to deal with that issue. DO NOT USE HER!!!!"

"This was a horrible consultation! My boyfriend and felt she was very uninterested in helping us! She even rolled her eyes at one point! We’re a young black, working couple and she judged us on that the minute we walked through the door. We were told how much she could help over the phone and once the money was paid, it was a whole different case! She needs to retire and let new and motivated people help the community!"

"I have been very pleased with all of the staff with the law firm. My calls have always been handled very quickly, and the support staff always respectful. My case needed to be transferred from another state, and my child support modified. At my initial consultation, my attorney even advised me that I would be able to handle those issues without having to hire a lawyer. How many attorneys do you know that would give you that kind of advice? I wanted to hire a lawyer to handle it because it involved an ex-spouse that had been very difficult to deal with on these issues. While my case did take longer than expected, this was in no way due to my attorney. The law firm, and my attorney, always kept me up to date on the status of my case, where the hold ups where coming from, and what was being done to resolve any issues. In the end my attorney was able to exceed all of my expectations in the outcome of my case. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking for an attorney."
