"This store has very attentive and detailed owners who took good care of my boots and jacket I left them. The boots were re-soled well and they were able to put a zipper on a jacket I've had in the family for a long time. I think the owner's are great people who do good business."

"Came to pick up my item and they were not open during normal hours. Hours on door say they close at 5. I arrived at 345 and they were already closed. I was able to locate a number to contact them. That was not the business number and their daughter was very helpful and was able to give me the item. It’s great service something you typically don’t get from big-name stores."

"Beware of price jump at pickup!! When I dropped off my wedding dress, the woman examined my dress, gave me a price and a ticket that said the date she wanted me to pick it up—along with the price. She spoke very little English so I wasn’t entirely sure what I was getting done but I had hope. When I arrived to pick it up that day during normal posted business hours, there was nobody at the store and nobody answering the phone—I had driven 40 minutes to pick this dress up. She did not open the store for another four hours. When I finally drove back and got my dress that evening, she wouldn’t button me up in it and just said “buttons work, too many buttons” and then at checkout said the alteration was difficult and she was charging me extra money . She charged me $50 more than she quoted me, at the last second, which I found pretty insulting. My options were basically to argue with someone with a huge language barrier or just pay the extra money and leave with my dress. Shady business! Would not return."

"I will find another shoe repair shop. They require you pay before the service is completed. After I picked the shoes up, I see why. Their service is sub standard - glue shows, unsure if it will hold."

"I have had alterations done periodically over the years without too many issues. But recently I brought a coat in to have the sleeves alterted for my daughter. They have had the coat two months and it still hadnt been touched. She originally said it would be done by mid January when I stopped in mid January she said she needed more time and would call me. I stopped in Valentines day because i had not heard from her in month. She still hadn't started on the coat so I left with the coat and probably will not return to this establishment again."
