"It's disgusting that these people can put a hold on what you owe and then not take the hold off until you pay. How can I pay when I'm overdrawn because you already took my money???"
"I'd give negative 5 stars if I could. Extremely rude, even though it's understandable considering they have miserable, unethical jobs."
"Nice receptionist that answers the phone, tries to be very helpful. And I did owe a debt (that I had forgotten about, so that's on me) so not mad about that either. What does upset me is that the attorney that handled my matter (Matthew Mikula) handled it inappropriately. I handle collections, and typically you verify address, send out a 30 day letter, if no response, file a warrant in debt, mail a copy to the respondent and the court has it served, then you have court appearance so respondent can contest if they so choose. On Saturday, 8/26, I received a letter dated 8/23 at my residence notifying me of a judgment obtained 8/16- it didn't give me a case number, a court name, no helpful information. All you have is 10 days to appeal. I had to figure out which court it was in (discovered it was in a county over 2 hours away), called the court on Monday, 8/28 and turns out they posted the WID at a home I sold 3 years ago in yet another county, but because the 10 days to appeal had past, there was not much I could do besides file to void the judgment and start over. Knowing I owed a debt to the provider, even though this law firm really violated the rules of procedure and the court also said it was improper service, I paid the debt and the egregious attorney fees. Just wanted to warn the next person- while the attorney may have gotten the end result they wanted, you shouldn't trust an attorney that is blatant unscrupulous in their methods. When it comes to the law, what is proper and what is just is everything. This was dirty."
"Very aggressive people, they think people owe them. Not helpful, not any sympathy for the costumers and understanding. Very impolite representative even they can’t say have a nice day then hang up the phone but only hanging up phone on you. Terrible, terrible, and again terrible, if you do not want to lose your reputation do not go to their office."
"These guys are like the mob hit men. If you don't pay, they will come after you. I had a modest medical debt that I had a payment plan, but if you miss one payment they will take you to court. They will freeze your accounts if you don't pay. They also do not negotiate. It is all or nothing."
