"This group is not at all what I thought. I applied people lied. I would not ever consider working for them if they were the last company on earth."
"Super helpful young man!!!!"
"I work here, good pay, decent people and good benefits."
"I bought a brand new 75 foot bucket truck from a salesman named John Dean everything was great until I signed and pulled off the lot I got home mind you six hours away and when I went to raise the bed on the truck I blew oil all over my driveway I called custom truck and they sent somebody out to fix it the next morning once they came out and fixed it it worked but nobody cleaned up the oil off of the truck or the driveway so I had to do that myself they offered to give me a pole Saw and extend the warranty on the boom slightly I was fine with that the next day I went out to the first job with the truck and the cylinder started leaking I called custom truck they sent somebody out the next day the mechanic looked at it and said it was not right then waited for The manufacture to send out one of their mechanics he said it’s kind of normal doesn’t really make sense to me but he said to keep running it and see if it stopped I said OK took it out to a job the next day noticed that a whole bunch of hydraulic lines were leaking called custom truck they sent somebody out to fix it and then the next day went out to another job went to dump the chip box at the customers house and blew oil all over their yard the customer declined to pay me for the whole job and I had to send out a crew to dig all of the dirt up and replace it and repair the lawn and then called custom truck and told them that I was done with this truck and they needed to swap it out which they agreed with a little bit of attitude and when I tried telling my salesman that the valve body on the dump cylinder was installed improperly he said to me I will not take hydraulic advice from a 21-year-old kid mind you which just bought $170,000 truck from them I was shocked at the way that he talked to me it was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful when I came down to swap out the truck they told me to submit them a bill for all of the cost of damages to customers property And they would reimburse me so I said OK when I picked up the new truck it was extremely dirty covered in dirt and grease they told me to also Bill them to clean it I said OK when I got home and clean the truck which took hours I noticed there was a whole bunch of scratches and dings all over the place which was from a rushed installation and also it was low about 3 gallons of hydraulic oil which I had to pay for once I submitted them the bill I had to call them two weeks later because I got no response And my Salesman John Dean told me when I asked him what they were going to do about it he said nothing he said your pole saw covers it and they are willing to do nothing I told him to have his manager call me about a month later I got no response I tried calling on multiple occasions still no response beware of custom truck worst customer service and junk equipment this company does not care nor do they value their customers they are a group of extremely disrespectful employees Everything will be great until the contract and paperwork is signed this company is a bunch of lying disrespectful people please beware"
"My son works for this company and I had an opportunity to visit during a family day sponsored by the company. The work environment was clean and well organized. One of the products they produce is bucket type vehicles used by Power companies, Phone companies, the Department of Forestry and any other company needing to lift workers for job functions. The company builds on a manufactured truck chassis (International Harvester was one I remember) to the specifications needed to complete the electrical, hydraulic and safety standards needed by the customer. In my opinion the trucks are high quality."
