84 Lumber

"I call two days before to price some quarter round for a job and also asked if Saturday morning would be fine to pick it up. Absolutely is what I was told by the employee. I had someone there at 9:30 Saturday morning to be told they've painted and can't get to the quarter round. So I call and get no answer like their not open. It's little things like this that when you try to stay on a schedule it throws a wrench in it. I can go get it elsewhere but I priced it according to what they quoted me. So much for relying on this 84 Lumber."

"Called on Wednesday to confirm they have certain plywood sizes for a project. The employee on the phone gives me prices and confirms they have stock. Comes Friday I go to pick some up and the guy has no idea what I’m talking about, saying they only carry 1/2 plywood. Waste of time."

"Bizarre experience attempting to order pressure treated poles for a pole barn. Employee had attitude and said had no idea what "UC4B" rated lumber is. This is concerning as it is required for many structural buried wood applications and is readily reviewable from AWPA literature. Employee made no effort to even listen...84 lumber lost out on a 72X18 pole barn lumber order."
