"AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. My husband booked me an appointment here for our anniversary so I could get my gel polish changed. First, let me say this place does not sanitize ANY of their tools. Both the emery board and buffing block were completely worn out and totally covered in dust from other customers. None of the tools was taken out of a sterilization bag or solution. This place needs to be reported to the Board of Health. Absolutely disgusting. This place is a nail fungus or infection waiting to happen. I would hate to see what they [don't] do to their foot soaking bath. On top of this, the technician did a terrible job shaping my nails. All of them slanted in the same direction, to the point where I tried to explain to them several times that they were crooked, and they kept taking length off the wrong side. I eventually gave up on that front. When my previous gel polish was being removed, instead of adequately saturating with acetone, the technician used an electric nail file to remove the leftovers and damaged my nails so thoroghly that my nail beds UNDERNEATH the nails became sensitive. I felt like he was moments away from drilling through my nail. In the weeks that have passed, I have already had several nails break off because he sanded them down so thin. I have literally never had this happen before. On top of this, the technician kept checking his phone and immediately got on his phone the moment my manicure was over. Poor quality, poor sanitation, poor customer service. Avoid at all costs. Praying I don't end up with nail fungus from visiting this place."

"Finally found my nail salon after moving back to Cville! Almost feel guilty having this gel mani redone after more than three weeks of it lasting and looking amazing! High quality. Good experience. Knowledgeable nail techs. Will return!"

"Before I start, I want to say that the lady who did my nails was thorough, precise, and did a great job overall. It’s quiet, and they don’t make much conversation, which is fine since I prefer that. The reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because they straight up did not do the design I asked for. I came in with a reference photo from their OWN Facebook page! I showed the lady multiple times the photo and had it open during our visit. I told her ‘I want these ombre nails’, to which she had me pick out a color. Not only did she not do the ombre at all, she also claimed that I hadn’t specifically said the word ombre. I said ombre, I said ‘darker to lighter at the tips’, and I said to fade them out. She also looked at the picture several times. I figured she’d do the ombre at the end, which is my mistake since I should have spoken sooner, but since she had looked at the photo and since I had described it multiple times, I thought it would be fine and that I should trust the professional. When I brought this up to her, I knew she knew that she had made a mistake. Several other people were called over and did confirm that it was their fault. She did a great job and I think the nails came out nicely. However, they were not what I asked for at ALL and on top of that, they were $68! Almost $70 and you didn’t even do the design I asked for correctly, with a picture from your OWN page! I figured maybe they’d be apologetic enough to knock down the price - I assumed wrong. It’s unfortunate because I did enjoy my experience and I like the nails, but if you don’t do what I specifically requested, why should I return? I’ve included pictures, both reference and the result."

"Ok so the overall atmosphere is nice and the employees are friendly. I paid $96 for a basic pedicure and dip powder manicure with designs. For that price (plus tip) I had high expectations. The pedicure was amazing and one of the best I've had. The manicure was decent,and I initially really liked my nails. I gave the tech free reign as I wanted something different. My nails can be seen on their Instagram, they were gorgeous. Sadly they only looked that way for 2 days and then began to peel and chip, which for me is unusual for dip powder. I went back to the salon as they guarentee your nails for two weeks if they mess up. They were very agreeable and fixed my nails for free. Again, the nails did not last but a few days. Overall I had the nails done twice in less than 2 weeks, and then because of how bad they looked just got them done somewhere else. $96 for not even 2 weeks.
