"This Museum for Augusta Military Academy was very interesting & gave a true feeling of “stepping back in time”! My father attended the academy back in 1944-45. Chris Correa was an absolute top notch tour guide, full of information about the school, the owners & the daily lives of the boys! What a treasure trove of information!! He was so helpful in getting information for me regarding the academy and my fathers time there. Imagine being able to see your fathers report card from 1943-1945!!! It has been a fun time working with Chris, as he answered questions & found out information!"
"My dad and I really liked this museum. The main building is small, but there is a lot to see. I recommend doing the guided tour. The guide is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. He has had conversations with former students and a professor, so he has been able to hear some firsthand stories about the school. The howitzer pointed toward the entrance is amusing."
"It was a neat free tour. You can only tour the main house. The lady that was working was very good and listened to my daughter talk and talk. We are not from the area."
"Had an awesome FREE tour by Chris. He told us so much history and gave us great detail. If you get a chance you have to stop by. Any questions you may have will be answered. I’m visiting from oregon and decided to stop by with my buddy who lives here. Really glad we did. Thanks again Chris."
"The tour guide brought the museum to life. His name Chris Correa, he loves talking about the place. We love history and was in no rush to leave."
