"I was in the shop this past Saturday. The owner was not only rude and disrespectful, he tried to tell me the carpet that I purchased in Kusadasi Turkey was an Afghan carpet. He has no idea about my carpet and he made assumptions off of a picture. There was a husband and wife couple that he was speaking to, and the husband had also purchased a carpet in Kusadasi Turkey recently. I thought it was totally unprofessional. I would not recommend this establishment."

"I stopped into Middleburg Antique Emporium yesterday and when I went downstairs discovered a virtual treasure trove of some of the finest handmade oriental rugs in Northern Virginia. I met the owner, Naiem Khoshdel, and learned a great deal about thread count, the designs woven into many rugs and how to tell machine made from handmade. I bought a prayer rug which I love and will go back when my new home to ready."
