"It varies so much from visit to visit and call to call. In general, this office was much better in the past however staff turned over has been significant. Even some of the current staff is ruder in general then years passed. This office originally came highly recommended about 2 years ago and in the passed I would have raved about them. At this point the staff (and wait times) have deteriorated and you may be better off looking for another office. For reference, a pre opp appt at 11am went till 12:50 with roughly 10 minutes of the whole appt being seen by a nurse or Dr. If you value your time, this may not be the practice for you."

"I've been seeing Dr. Mitchell for decades, find him warm, patient, informative. Last year I had an urgent problem on a Sunday, called emergency number, Dr. Morin (not a service) answered, gave me advice, said come to office Monday morning. I was seen promptly and thoroughly examined, made appt for follow-up. I liked her too so I saw her for next annual exam. This week I had a problem, got appt next day, saw Dr. Weber who gave exam for current problem, diagnosed as minor, advised increase use of Systane (for dry eyes) for three days. I liked her too so it'll be a dilemma deciding who to see for next annual exam. I've also liked technicians when they've done part of exams. And practice is near several favorite Vienna food places: The Sandwich Shop, Pasty store, bread store."

"I had the read good reviews about Dr. Mitchell. I went to him after months of eye issues due to a severe form of pink eye. I had high hopes he'd figure out what was wrong with my eyes. Instead, he spent less than 5 minutes with me, didn't do ANY examination of my eyes that an ophthalmologist should do. He just pulled down my lower eyelid, and decided I needed medication (that's incorrect, by the way! ). I was in such shock at his lack of attention and care, and his inability to hear me (ie/ you can't wear contacts, when I'm not?!!), I paid (out of pocket) and went to sit in my car to cry in frustration. A couple of days later, I called his office manager, Sandy, to request a refund because no one should have to pay for a non-examination, it's illegal. Needless to say, never heard from their office again until I followed up. They claimed to have left me a message that the doctor "feels" he did a full exam. He wouldn't offer a refund . Not only am I reporting him to the board, but I don't want anyone else to experience what I did, which is why I'm writing this review. Awful "doctor" and office. Avoid at all costs!"

"Dr. Mitchell is awesome! I've worked with him for 3 years and all his patients love him,! Great bedside manner and is so kind to all his patients but above all that he is a fantastic surgeon. Definitely one of the most talented doctor in the area."
