Two Men and a Truck

"From the beginning of my move starting with from the salesperson that help me to estimate the cost (thank you Mr. Grossi), to the office personnel who kept me informed with constant updates as to what was happening with the transport (thank you Ms. Shiniece), and lastly my big time thanks to the trucking crew (Damian and Jalen) who did a great job with the transportation... they were quick but careful and to great care not only to protect my belongings but to also protect the area they would move through as to not cause damage there either. "I called a couple of places and had some prices that were all over the place. So I decided to do some research. I looked up the history of “Two Men & A Truck.” Actually a pretty amazing story! I called them. Their price was reasonable and the person on the phone had good communication skills so I went with them. The day of the job the two young men were about an hour and forty five minutes late, however they had gotten held up at the previous job. We had a dinner engagement at 6, so I was a little concerned. Zack and Femmie were very apologetic and assured me they do their best. These two young men were great! Hard workers, very polite, experienced, and had a good attitude. I would hire either of them!! At one point they were struggling with one of those little ratchet straps that you have to put together, I hate those things. So I had brought an 8lb ball of poly 3/8 rope home, I grabbed that and went up on the truck and told them to trash the ratchet strap and said let me teach you something. I cut the appropriate length of rope and went from one side to the other and showed them what I call a trucker’s knot which I used to make the rope tight. Zack and Femmie were amazed and wanted to learn how to do that because it would save them tons of time and if you use the same size truck all the time, you can reuse the same ropes. So we had school and I think they got it! Dinner got moved to seven, truck nicely packed, and two fine young men left with a new skill. I was given a discount because of the time issue and a 30 minute concession for rope / knot class. I would highly recommend this company and most certainly Zack & Femmie. I believe a company is no better than its people. Two Men & a Truck are an example of that from the several phone calls during the job from the company staff to the two young men! I will be using them again in about a month or so and I will ask for Zack and Femmie to see if they can tie that trucker’s knot! Ed Mullis Newport News. VA"
