"What an amazing artifact of American history. The lived experience of many of Cape Charles's African American residents runs through this school. It was closed in the late 1960's, but a preservation group is restoring it. Please donate to the restoration efforts - see the link in the profile. Any amount will do."
"History in the remaking"
"No trespassing - this place is private property! Unfortunately, there is not much to see. We parked in a gravel driveway at the front of the building. Because there was a "No Trespassing" sign, we did not venture far."
