"Travis and Seth were absolutely the “A” Team we needed as we transitioned my mom from VA to another state. They were consummate professionals who were kind and gentle with my widowed mom. They took time to understand her and even remembered where her treasures were located when I called while they were on the road. I would hire Travis and Seth again without hesitation. Even when the move took longer due to elevator issues their patience never waned. I was pleased but more importantly my mom was pleased. Adding- Douglas T. did an excellent job packing the kitchen to my mom’s specifications. Amended- They packed everything extremely well and we had zero damage after 800 plus miles. When they ran low on pads someone brought them more right away!!"

"Arranging service was easy and convenient. I was told I’d have 4 movers who would have hanging boxes and a few extra boxes for any items not packed (most items were). Three movers showed up on time instead of 4. They were friendly and efficient, but maybe too efficient. I’ve moved 9 times in 15 years all over the world with many companies. But more items were broken in this one move than collectively amongst those other moves. The movers showed me some broken items, but it wasn't until I started putting items away that I found even more items. And I moved 0.2 miles this time. One of my hanging boxes wasn’t hung, but stuffed and smooshed full into a box. Multiple framed items shattered. A pottery item that my mom made when I was a child was broke . The leg on filing cabinet completely came off, and another leg on an item chipped. My dining table legs are now wobbly and they weren’t before. A week later, I noticed that my Apple Airpods Pro were missing. I tracked them to a neighborhood near Oakwood Cemetery not far from the All My Sons office. I wrote to the company, showed them where I tracked them and asked if they could check the truck to see if they fell out. When a supervisor named Jason called me, he told me that an employee stole them and was going to be fired. He said he would get them back to me and compensate me $150 for the broken items. After 5 days, he called me again and processed the $150 but he was unable to retrieve my AirPods that continued to move all over the city of Richmond. I filed a police report and a complaint with the BBB. Eventually the corporate office contacted me and offered me an additional $100 but I had to sign a confidentialty agreement and not post any negative reviews about the company. I refused as this seemed unethical and wouldn't even cover the cost of my broken items or my AirPods. Someone from the corporate office in Texas did reach out to try and find a resolution."

"My move was supposed to be relatively simple, 4 rooms, select pieces. Yet, it took more than 4 hours to wrap the pieces and load the truck!! My ultimate cost for the move was more than double the original estimate. Movers arrived with one man less than what was promised, hourly rate was only adjusted down by $30. They arrived at 9:30am but did not leave the original destination until about 2pm. Movers did not come with the needed tools and supplies. As a result, one of my paintings could not be moved because it could not be packaged as the glass containers or packaging for glass, was not loaded on the truck. They also did not have the necessary tools to remove the legs of certain furniture, so my originating property was damaged from the movers trying to force entire pieces through the door. And, they dropped my dining table, which still had the thick legs on it that should have been removed. I did not opt for costly moving insurance because I trusted that the moving company would have been professional and responsible, so I was willing to absorb the cost of minor damages. However, what happened during this move amounts to negligence. I was asked to file a claim but whatever they offered to cover my damages and to repair my property was insulting. I'm not sure how to respond to Heather's reply below, so I'm amending my update. I did call the number recommended and was told that the $300 that was offered, was a good offer. It was also interesting to find out that All My Sons do not pay for the total cost to repair property damage. They pay for the supplies and customers will either have to do the repairs themselves or hire a handyman at their own cost to do the work. Needless to say, I will not be using this company again, and neither would I recommend them."

"Travis and Maurice did a fantastic job for us today on our move. It was very emotional and difficult moving my Dad from his home into assisted living. Not only were they good movers but they were nice people, which made a tough day less hard. Thank you!
