"So many reasons I regret sending my oldest daughter here. She is now thriving in public sxhool. The principal is a joke and gives off creepy vibes. They can’t keep staff and pay them poorly. If you are looking for a Christian based school find somewhere else."
"My wife and I picked Great Bridge Christian Academy as the school to send our son, Jacob, starting K3 through present K5. The school leadership, administrative team, all faculties and employees of the ministry as well as the Church are organized, welcoming, helpful, positive and we have nothing but good experience as Jacob has grown and learned here. It’s a clean, safe learning environment that keeps the kids engaged having fun while also praying and learning. Highly recommended school, we drive to and from Norfolk everyday as a small sacrifice but the tuition is very reasonable and the class sizes are small."
"Great Bridge Christian Academy continues to exceed our expectations. Initially enrolled our child into Pre-K4, she is now a current fourth grader. Staff applies an all hands on deck approach to assure our child’s needs are met. Teachers are good at adapting to the students’ learning abilities. A rather small, but very strong community. Faculty communicates effectively with parents. Very friendly, caring, and safe atmosphere. Staff is very excepting of and embraces diversity. Sense of entitlement is not condoned within this facility. They promote fairness and equality and genuinely care and have students’ best intrests heart. We are very pleased with the academic successes our child has and continues to receive at Great Bridge Christian Academy."
"Please look out for your childs best interest and do not put them in this school. My son was dropped off at 9:30am and was picked up at 3:30pm i put five diapers in his bag when I picked him up the five diapers were still in there!!!!!!! I changed him in the parking lot, my shirt was covered in pee and poo so bad that I drove home with just my bra. I brought the 10 pound diaper to the staff and they simply said sorry. i got home and took a pic of my sons butt it was so bad he was bleeding. i felt like such a bad mom even tho i was not the one who did this to him, poor thing. This school is very dirty and the staff is mostly low class I am taking the next step and reporting this (school) to the health department as I dont want any other child to suffer."
"This school is all about the money. I had 4 kids that went here. My son only had 7 kids in his class room. Out of the 7 kids only 2 passed. How is that possible. As a parent I feel that she failed. Not only the children but the parents to. The pe teacher gets in your children's faces and feels she needs to be a drill Sargent. The middle school teacher feels that she can talk about your child and down grade them in front of other children. I honestly wasted my money and time here. My son is on a iep and they never honored that. I'm not pleased by any means with this school. As far as the middle school section goes. The elementary classes. I will say, we had a much better experience with. Mrs. Ivey and Mrs. Spellman are wonderful. They both are a true blessing to this school. I really wish that there were more teachers like them there. There was a middle school teacher. That contacted my son on his fb messenger. She was asking him how his day was. What his plans were for the day. I found that odd. When I seen that I asked my son about it. He informed me that she was let go from the school. This only makes me wonder why. I wouldn't waste my time or money here. I feel it's a waste of money and time. I'm thankful that my children found a school that cares."
