"I've used the services of Ms. Chernin since 2009. She was usually able to obtain fairly favorable results during the period 2009-2012, but I never really felt that I was being listened to, and some of the advice was very, very bad (such as staying in an extremely abusive marriage/home for several months so I could look like I was working it out). Because of the long history of the case, I continued using Ms. Chernin, but over the last few years I've felt the quality of service was declining. Important details were missed, and motions were filed that did not remotely address what I wanted her services for; in fact, she entangled me in a case that is unnecessary and stressful, and perhaps she didn't understand the issue that was at hand. Given the expense of her services, the headaches of the above issues, and the decline in performance, I would definitely look elsewhere for counsel. If you know what outcome you'd like an attorney to try for or really need someone to listen, I would not recommend. Might be good for a simple case without too many parameters. 2 1/2 stars."
