Central Montessori School

"My wife and I are both Montessori students and wanted to provide the same experience for our child. Central seemed like a great fit. They talk about spending time outside, caring for each child's individuality, and building a strong community. Unfortunately that is not what we found. In the under 6 months we attended Central the classroom teacher changed multiple times and the assistant teacher would change throughout the day and week. The school neglected to share the school calendar with us and communication only occured when forced by us (the weekly love note never arrived). When school leadership changed at the end of the summer there were slight improvements, but I wouldn't recommend this school without a thorough audit. Our child seemed miserable and neglected there, but is now thriving in a new environment."

"My daughter loves the independence she has at school, which has boosted her confidence and critical thinking skills. The teachers are all lovely and clearly devoted to their work. It's also ridiculously convenient that the school is open all year (with plenty of breaks built in) and runs all day so there's no need to arrange after school care."
