"Stay away! Had the short black man with the dreads up front by the door cut my hair. He totally left my head uneven with a fade. Had him try to fix a couple areas and after several minutes I just chalked it up and left it as is. Never again to this clown outfit. and $45 for a haircut? They are f'king crazy!!!!!! There are a few other barbers in Roanoke who are at $30 and $35. Stop giving into these clown barbers wanting $40+! It is absurd to charge that much for a MENS haircut"

"I'm from California. As my friends best man, I brought both of us here to get a couple of cuts right before the wedding. First off I'd like to say that all these guys are some of the nicest people you'll come across. Where I'm from you typically have to make an appointment with a barber days (sometimes weeks) in advance and there's no guarantee that your cut will be good. At Platinum I asked how it worked and they let us know that we just had to sit and wait for someone to be available. Awesome! In 10 minutes we were both in the chair. Now my friend (half Filipino half white) hates getting his haircut, but even he had to admit that he looked sharp as hell. My cut was just as good! The guy (wish I could remember his name) gave me exactly what I asked for and frankly, I'm sad that this place is 3000 miles away from me now. HIGHLY reccomend this place to anyone!"

"The stylist didn’t even carefully listened to me carefully and started cutting my hair; he was just talking to his mate the whole time. My friend got a haircut right before I did, and I told him I just wanted it a little bit short. This guy gave me almost a buzz cut; my hair is really short now. He also trimmed off my facial hair without asking me so I had to shave off my whole face when I went home. I could have gone to great clips and gotten a better haircut for half the price. Would really not advice going to this place."
