Mountain Optical

"I had a very disappointing experience with Mountain Optical. The doctor and staff arrived to open the office 1 minute before my appointment, which was the first appointment of the day at 9am. Both the staff member who initially took me back and the doctor dilated my eyes, I think they had some miscommunication there, so I was in a bit of pain and my eyes were extremely sensitive for the rest of the day afterwards. The doctor did not explain what he was doing as we went through my exam and did not speak to me at all after the exam regarding my eye health or what he had seen in the exam. My contact and glasses prescriptions were given to me with the caveat that I should check and compare them to my old prescription, and if they matched up then I had no need for a follow-up, otherwise I should call to come see them again in a week??? The doctor also began making political commentary regarding contact lens prescriptions and the American governmental system... Lastly, I do not think that they ran my insurance/charged me correctly and I have had to request that HR look into it."
