Bishops Cuts/Color

"I’ve been getting my haircuts from Bishops as soon as they opened up in Red Mill. The staff is friendly and the vibe is inclusive (something that’s so important nowadays). This was my first time getting my haircut from Jimmy…and I have to say he is the most kind hearted, attentive, and talented hairdresser (but more importantly, person). Definitely suggest getting your haircuts here and book with Jimmy! He’s a rockstar!"

"Natalie was so awesome! She really listened to my concerns and gave me her opinions on what I should do with my hair while it’s still growing out. She did an amazing job explaining everything along the way. I left there with a lot more confidence in how I looked. It was just the boost I needed for my self esteem. "This is going to be a two part review. One part for potential clients and one for stylists/barbers looking to work here. This is all my opinions based off my experience getting my hair done and working with this Bishops location. Getting a quality cut/color will be next to impossible. There is more inexperienced stylists than there is experienced. Which means they will be practicing on you! No one wants that. If you are looking to get a color- don’t get it from here. There is ONE good colorist (Natalie). So if you can’t get with her, find somewhere else. For stylists or barbers looking to work here… know the owner will try to give you as little commission as possible. He expects you to run the salon for him because he doesn’t want to hire a salon manager or be there since he works as a pharmacist elsewhere. You MUST text or call to possibly get in touch with him because he MAY OR MAY NOT be in the salon. The entire time I was here he did not hold any salon meetings or one on ones with me. If you don’t have clients he wants you to work for free while cleaning, handling the phone or something else in the salon. But don’t expect a base pay for anything extra that you do. He also can not handle a hard and honest conversation. I tried to talk to him about problems and he said “we need to part ways because it’s not working out”. It’s not working out because he can’t have conversations with his stylists and barbers. —————- I hope this helps the public stay safe and healthy!
