"I've been moving with STAR for more than 2 decades now. STAR gets everything right, the first time, every time. They have moved my HHG ten times over the course of 22+ years, and every move is a 5-⭐ move. I always have them pack the HHG, and they always do an impeccable job -- far better than I could do, myself! They arrive on time, they are always very professional, they easily adjust to last-minute changes, their estimates are always accurate -- there is nothing I would change about STAR. STAR is a family-owned operation, and it really shows -- the I see the same faces and work with the same people over and over. STAR are professional movers, not people hired off the street who have never packed a box before -- and it shows in their work. I've also moved with other movers, and have had everything from inaccurate estimates of time and cost to complete no-shows, as well as pack jobs that are are done quickly and carelessly (leading to damaged items) These days, I don't even bother getting estimates from other movers -- STAR is my only mover, and it's the only phone call that I make when I need to move. I first want to highlight Mr. Dee Fogleman, first met Dee when he came to the house to provide a free estimate. He was professional, friendly and more importantly extremely knowledgeable. Provided helpful hints to make the moving process as stress free as possible. After receiving the estimate we decided to move forward with Star Moving Solutions. Dee and the team made the coordination and preparing for the pack extremely easy. We scheduled the pack and load day with ease. JP’s crew arrived to the house on time. I was happy to see the level of detail his team had on covering the stairs, walls and flooring to prevent damage and dirt on the floors/walls while moving the furniture out of the house and into the truck. I was impressed with the precision and speed JP’s crew had. After everything was packed Dee called to ensure the pack and load went as planned. We had an out of state move so we had to schedule storage and delivery of our household goods. Throughout the process the entire Star Moving Solutions team was in constant communication with us. Once we relocated to the new home we coordinated the delivery of our household goods. David, Alirio and Brian showed up to unload the truck and once again the prep work to the house covering stairs, walls and carpet was appreciated, especially since our items were being unloaded in a heavy down poor of rain. The rain didn’t stop the team or slow the team down unloading the truck. All tables, beds and couches were assembled and boxes placed in their desired locations. "Moving can be a very stressful experience and you really want the actual packing and moving to be as painless as possible. The crew responsible for packing our belongings were professional, friendly and hardworking. The packing and loading were done on the same day which was a significant amount of labour. Despite the amount of work, the crew cheerfully accepted items that were late additions to the original inventory. They also worked into the evening to ensure that all the work was completed and done well. Overall, I felt that the crew were focused on making the experience as customer friendly as possible - a welcome relief from experiences with some past movers."
