"I did a walk in appt I think it was Thursday or Friday before Christmas. The hair dresser was very loud and unprotected. She more focused on talking with her coworkers. I definitely wasn't happy with the cut either. I paid $28 and didn't leave a tip. I check my bank statement yesterday and the beautician gave herself on tip on my card. I was charged $36.40 for a $28 cut. I am not happy and how many people have they've done this to. THIS IS FRAUD in so many ways WILLBE FILING A COMPLAINT AND CONTACTING MY BANK.AS WELL."

"First of all, reception upon entering the establishment (at Janaf) was "blah" and not very welcoming. Second, I specified a "trim and shaping" of my curly natural hair. The stylist I was assigned directed me to her station and I offered a picture to give her an idea of what I wanted. She barely looked at my picture, proceeded to put cape around me and next thing I knew I heard clippers going all over my head. It wasnt until I felt clippers close to my scalp that I asked her to "stop" stating I didnt want my hair shaved down that far. She proceeded to say when I asked for a tapered cut to a stylist that means close cut. But I showed you a picture! To make a howering experience short, I asked her to just even out what she had done and that was it. My hair is now too short to do anything with! I paid my bill and even tipped the young lady, but I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!"

"I made a 5PM appointment for my 5 year old to get his first haircut before starting school. We arrived a few minutes prior. The lady checked us in and asked if we were waiting for Connie. I said no, any stylist will do, it's just a trim for my son. I had selected "any stylist available" when booking online and my confirmation email reflects that. A walk-in came a few minutes later and was told to return at 515. We wait patiently. The walk in returns at 515 and is promptly taken by the same lady who checked us in, who then tells me "Connie will be with you shortly". Yeah that's great except I told her I had no stylist preference, so why would she take care of a walk-in before me and my son? I waited until 530 and ended up leaving. Even if I HAD been waiting for Connie, a 30 minute wait on a prebooked appointment is ridiculous. Next time I won't bother, I'll just walk in!"
