Reviews of Shine Transportation
"A Shine Transportation Tanker truck just cut me off on 270 north in Maryland. The driver was driving in a absolutely INSANE manner. I followed the truck #1203 and watched him cut in out of traffic without signaling and clocked him EXCEEDING 80mph! I drive for a living and have seen it all but this was so bad I had to write a review. Maybe the driver was high on some type of methamphetamine. This company should be investigated by law enforcement as I can see I am not the only person to see this gross neglect of safety."
"I followed one of your tanker trucks up Rt 17north between Rt 66 and Rt 50 heading toward Winchester at about 1730 during rush hour yesterday. Your truck stopped at the tracks and proceeded at the 45mph speed limit. The car behind him decided to pass when they got to the dotted lines. Granted, there were oncoming cars and I wouldn’t have done it, but what your driver did was a disgrace. He is not god and should never try to decide someone’s fate. He laid on his horn, sped up and then proceed to move to the left, crossing the lines. He was actually trying to push the car passing him off the road. The oncoming traffic had to slow down and move to the shoulder to allow the car to get around the truck. If your drivers hate their jobs so much, it time to hang it up! Terrible on all accounts!! You really need to think about who you’re hiring because someone is going to get killed."
"Saw one of their trucks carrying FLAMMABLE LIQUID going 15+ MPH OVER the speed limit on SLICK ROADS on SR-28 NORTH at 9:28 PM on 8/21/18. I called the cops on the driver and reported them, that driver is going to kill them self and others WHEN they get in an accident, not even if they do. Ironically, there’s a cross in the logo on their trucks, and their disregard for the safety of and courtesy towards others on the roads is extremely UN-CHRISTLIKE. Hopefully that driver is arrested for public endangerment and this awful company is shut down. The way they were transporting the fuel, they were essentially a speeding missile on wheels."
"Not a big fan of a company who has drivers that I see continually speeding around.. Today I finally had seen enough. On 522 North outside of Winchester on the winding mountain roads, I had a truck from this company pulling a propane trailer with the letters P4 for on it blow past me like I was standing still and I was doing over 60 miles per hour. Sick of these 18 wheelers driving like maniacs up and down these roads... update! ☹️ February is this another one of their trucks blew past me on the same exact Road only good thing about today? Today we have a black ice warning until noon and the guy pulling trailer number 1117 doesn't seem to mind the black ice he was easily doing 65 or 70 and now I just watched him blow through a 45 miles per hour school zone without slowing down and the lights are flashing"
"This morning on my daily commute I got on Route 66 at Gainesville VA. There were no vechicles around me at this time. As I traveled east a Shine Transpotation semi tanker quickly appeared behind and continued to follow VERY closely to the back of my car. As everyone that lives and commutes in Northern VA knows, 66 starts to jam up before the Manassas business exit everyday. Well as I started to slow down to prepare for the jam, as well as everyone else on the road is doing, the Shine Transportation tanker continued with his speed and is now even closer to the back of my car. All of a sudden the semi tanker quickly jumped into the HOV lane passed me and cut back over in front of me right before he had to stop for the jammed traffic?? He then continued to switch lanes like his was driving a sub contract car?? First of all if this is a local transportation company, (which it is) wouldn’t the driver be aware of the daily jam up at this point on 66? Also what is the urgency that a massive tanker semi, most likely carrying fuel, need to be driving so fast anyway? How can a semi truck carrying a trailer filled with fuel stop as quickly as needed going that fast? Btw this happened roughly 6 am in the morning!! I’m hoping the driver reads this and understands the amount of people that could be killed or seriously injured by his excessive speeds. At first I worried about shaming the business because of just one of their drivers. I actually even debated bothering to write this review. But the second I google searched this company and saw that they claim to be a family oriented business and that the only other review was just a week ago, also a one star review, and also another person concerned with the excessive speeds these trucks are driving, I decided to tell my story too. Shine Transportation, please slow down and drive safely. Someone’s family is driving in the cars around you. Thank you"
