"Nice Christmas decoration store in the old train depot (you can still see the ticket window in one of their walls). Very little Greenbrier branded stuff, so no need to worry about it being a hotel gift shop experience. Immediately next to the Amtrak line and directly across the street from the main Greenbrier entrance."
"The Greenbrier Christmas Depot is a nice little place to visit on your way through the area. It is across the road from The Greenbrier. It has lovely items but it is a bit expensive. Every transaction has a $2.99 "historical transaction fee," that is not explained ahead of time. A pack of Christmas Cards runs $22.00 for 10."
"While on a bike tour, where I got stuck in very hard, cold rain, with high winds, I went for shelter at the Amtrek station there. I saw the Christmas shop, I went in to try and get warm. I was shaking from the wet and cold. Tammy made me feel very at home and even helped me order take out food from April's, seeing I was out of town and not in a good way. It took two hours for my wife to come pick me up, and Tammy was a wonderful host."
