"These folks are friendly, helpful and have pool and spa supplies AND parts.....saved me again!"
"This happened in 2022, but I feel should be shared. The first time Valley came out, the tech working caused a leak in the pipes and still charged almost $500. They were not up front about the cost because I asked him if he believed it would be more than $200 and he said no, so I said okay and to please call me if the quote changed. Because of the system not working after he worked on it, the area manager offered to come out and fix it. He said he would be there on a specific date. He did not arrive by 4pm, so I called to check if he was still coming. They assured me he was, but no one ever showed up or called to say otherwise. The next day, while I'm at work, I get a notification from my cameras that someone was in my pool yard. Obviously he ignored the no trespassing signs. I'm a young, small woman new to the area and got scared, so I asked my fiancé to check on the disturbance. He went outside with his gun at his hip. Not once did he raise it or aim the gun. He went and asked who the guy was and what he was doing. The guy acted like we overreacted despite the fact that he was trespassing. He gave no notice he was coming, and it was an entirely different day than he was scheduled. The guy then told him that he wouldn't come out here anymore, and belittled us saying, "who else would be here?" IDK, a thief? Someone looking to harm me or my property? Why else would a stranger show up unannounced?"
"Excellent service. Listened well to what I was trying to get accomplished and after testing my water was able to show me exactly what was needed."
"I would leave zero stars if I could. My grandfather ordered a new pool liner back in early spring due. He paid on it and they told him sometime early June. June came and went and he heard nothing from anyone. My grandfather called and left multiple messages for their liner guy, but no one ever got back to him. I found the number for the liner person and decided to call myself. I left multiple messages asking someone to call me to give an estimate on when the job could be done. After hearing nothing for a day, I called six or seven times in a row and finally the guy picked up. I explained who I was and what I was calling about, and explained our extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of communication. He estimated the job could be done either that Friday, or the following Monday or Tuesday. Needless to say, the job is still not done, and we have heard nothing. I am aware (as is my grandfather) of how busy pool companies must be this time of year. HOWEVER, the fact no one has ever even called to say "hey, we still have you on our list, and will get to you eventually", I mean, NOTHING! I I would definitely not recommend doing business with this company."
"Valley installed my pool in 2014 and did an excellent job. The pool has been trouble free and easy to care for. Everyone who worked on it was as professional and competent as you could possibly hope for. Naturally, was expected the store to be great. In fact, it was the worst retail experience I've had in years. My wife and I went in looking for a railing for our pool steps. The young man who asked if he could help us couldn't find the railing brochure, didn't know what steps I had, (the steps they installed!) and was unable to help. He then asked the obviously senior man to assist him but he said he "had no clue." I then asked about chlorine and was quoted a price that was double what I've paid at Walmart. No explanation that it was a superior product, just a take it or leave it silence. Needless to say I left it and will likely never go back. I am so disappointed! These people were great at building my Pool! After sale service, not so much. Long story short, I got a railing on eBay from a pool company in Florida. I hate that. I love doing business locally and don't mind paying a little more for good service. Not happening here. Sad."
