"I got my hair braided here & the braids are so painful & tight that my hairline is swollen. I requested small box braids but they’re not small at all & the parts are huge & sloppy for $350.00. I don’t recommend this braiding bar to anyone that wishes to receive a protective style. I feel scammed & definitely will not be returning!!"
"Love Bebe! I have been coming to Bambas for over 2 years and remain a loyal customer. My braids are always neat and my head is never sore!!"
"My 7 year old daughter loves getting her braided at Bamba’s. They provide fun “peek a boo” colors for her styles. They have WiFi for her device, they give her a snack & drink during the process. The place is clean and professional. I feel comfortable leaving my child there while I run quick errands. The price is also fair. As a single dad this shop makes life easier."
"I have been here three times and had no issues the first and second visit. I loved my hair. No soreness. No tight braiding until this weekend. My hair was gripped and braided so tightly that when I flinched in pain I was told my hair is short and it will last longer, however that is a lie because the woman who did my hair previously had no issues with grip (she did not braid my hair tight at all) and my braids still looked good after a month. Anyway my braids were heavy, stiff, and so tight when I moved my front braids I felt like they would take my edges right out. I had a bit of swelling in the front and my scalp hurt and burned all over. I immediately took the braids out the SECOND day. That’s how bad my scalp felt. My scalp is still sore all over and burns if I spray anything with alcohol on my scalp so that tells me I have tiny tears in my scalp. This will be my last visit. I have beautiful thick hair with edges and I don't feel like I should have to sacrifice that for braids. If you’re skilled you should know how to grip short hair without excessive tension, plus my hair isn't THAT short. There is NOTHING cute about having huge knots, with no hairline showing when wearing box braids. Along with a swollen hair line. PLEASE STOP THIS MADNESS! Anyway, beware ladies and please don't be afraid to speak up. I wish I had. $250 wasted."
