"Who do you even report things that need improvement to? Nobody cares or can or will do anything about passing anything on. The ATM sucks.. only 30 bills and one slow check at a time. The interface is terrible now and the delay between buttons is the worst. This bank is also the slowest for their servers and all computer processing down to ATM is longer than other branches. Not to mention minimal indicator of being open as they darkened the outside so much through the window you can't even tell if anyone is inside or there."
"I've been in Banking for 20+ years. Just went in to get a cashier's check. I processed a balance transfer from my other institution about a week and a half ago. It took a long time for the check to get to Navy. They deposited the check into my account yesterday. I went to the Navy Federal Credit Union branch in Gainesville thinking if I showed them where the funds were sent from and based on my relationship with Navy Federal Credit Union, they could release the hold. In banking and CU world, this happens all the time. I figured that with loans and an active credit card with a pretty decent limit, they could make this courtesy hold release. Trust me, O do this at my own Financial Institute ALL THE TIME. It felt like the lady did not know what she was doing or did not want to do a simple courtesy look up of my account and see that the check that I wanted was for much less than what Navy's loss would be, if I were to bounce a check. Simple stuff. At least in the banking world. I even told her that I could charge my credit card right then for much more then what the check hold was for. I guess I'm used to basic member service from well-known FIs and I'm not sure if it was NFCUs policy or lack of service knowledge of the individual, it simply left a bad taste. I know Navy FCU can do better. I now have to go take time off from work and go back to Navy again for this simple transaction."
"Your customer service onsite is absolutely horrible. How about everyone gets on the same page regarding who goes to the magical queue or the line or just walks up? Four tellers and no one knows who is serving who."
"After 11 years with Navy Federal, 4 of them being active duty Navy, I’m leaving this bank. Absolutely ridiculous processes and red tape for no reason. Been trying to add my wife who has the same last name and address as me for a month and for no reason they can not get her membership or accounts set up. I’m moving my checking accounts from here and refinancing every loan I have for them. They’ll never see another dollar from me."
"Super friendly staff! The banker who assisted me with my wire transfer was super personable and patient with me while I navigated the forms. The whole team seemed to work well together and made it a good, low stress experience."
