"Good people! Good gear! Went in looking for carabineers and they had them! They were super engaged in selling them!"
"Always the best. Great climbing shop, knowledgeable staff, and great company. They also organize climbing events during non-quarantine time."
"I went to this store last Saturday (8/24/19) morning to buy a few carabiners before a backpacking trip. We had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience here and I would not recommend this shop to anyone! The employees were all extremely rude and aware of their rudeness and the owner was just as bad when she eventually showed up. You can see the full explanation of our experience below. When we entered the shop there was a crowd of employees hanging out together and they immediately went silent as we came in the door. I stated that we were looking for carabiners (which are hanging on the wall behind the counter and require assistance to look at and buy) and not one of them made eye contact or acknowledged in any way that we had come in. They just sat in silence making awkward eye contact with each other and STRAIGHT UP IGNORING US. So we went further in to do a lap and allow someone to figure out who was going to help us. As we moved to the back of the store every one of them jumped up and went outside. They started to put up a large canopy together but not all of them were required to do this. They left us alone in the shop. We then went back to the front and discussed what we wanted to look at whenever someone decided to help us. We stood at the counter for several minutes. Finally a new woman came up and one of her employees said to her "there's someone in there, we're all making you look bad". (Um yes. Indeed you are!). This woman (I assume the owner) walked in, saw us waiting to check out at the counter, did not acknowledge us in any way, (walking between us without so much as an excuse me) and proceeded to go to the back of the shop and fiddle around with the coffee pot. She occasionally glanced at us to see if we were still there but did not say a word. We stood there and waited for at least 5 more minutes, some of the employees came in and out looking at the owner then at us (STILL WAITING) and went back outside. Not one person said a single word to us and we eventually left without getting anything that we needed."
"Very cool local climbing shop with a decent selection of gear, some excellent history posted on the walls, and a staff happy to help with beta and more!"
"One of the last, great climbing shops in the country. Between the annual parties, the selection of high quality gear, local beta, and trail/crag upkeep, thee folks are committed to climbers!"
