"Came to check out the birria tacos. Ended up getting a fish taco, chori-pollo taco, and birria taco. Also, not pictured, was chips and chorizo queso dip. The chips and queso were amazing. The chips were warm and fresh; these are also one of the better chips I've had too (compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to). The queso was almost perfect for me. It was on the runny side, however wasn't overly salty. The chorizo added a nice depth of flavor. Also worth noting: you get approximately 12 oz of queso, which I've never seen before. For size comparison that's 3/4 of a 16 oz deli container. The tacos were great too. The fish taco had large chunks of breaded and fried fish with pickled red onions that helped cut through the heaviness. Though I wish the shredded cheese was melted. The chori pollo had a very large portion of chorizo and had some pico on top; didnt necessarily hate it or love it. Both were a little messy, which signs of good tacos. The birria taco was a little disappointing; the consome was on the bland side sadly and didn't have as much cheese as I was expecting. It was still an amazing taco. Had leftover queso and asked for a lid. Was offered and graciously accepted sole chips to go with it. To my amazement I received a whole second portion of fresh and warm chips - FOR FREE. Despite the somewhat expensive price of the tacos ($5 each) they were delicious and I would definitely come back again for them."

"The carnitas tacos are off the rails. The owners are great to chat with. Fun place, great music and the black and white tv shows are awesome. Will continue to visit. The dessert!"

"Got there as soon as they opened up. Food was great, not too familiar with the area but heard of this spot from a co worker. The prices do add up though, but the portion size is pretty good. **ALSO it seems they fixed the cheese issue in the Birria from another reviewer, mines had a lot of cheese"

"i had a great service experience hands down. however the food wasn’t necessarily the best. the birria tacos didn’t come with anything but meat and very bland. no cheese cheese on it either . i had to add my own topping that you see from home. i had to add cilantro my self as well. no onions either in my taco. the consome dip taste like they added too much lime in it very bitter taste and no seasoning. it also tasted like it was sitting all day and went sour/ bad."
