"Studio 108 was booked for the week but I wanted a cut to reduce weight on my long permed wavy flowy hair. I had Kevin and told him I was growing my hair out and just needed weight reduced but he didn’t speak any English but he asked how short and I indicated the tiniest amount with my fingers and seemed like understood layers. He cut off several inches off my permed hair and several months of hair growth progress when I said and indicated only a little bit of hair to be cut and it barely looks like I have a perm anymore. I am very saddened by this haircut. This haircut has ruined my life and it will take several months to have the hair I once had. Do not recommend."

"I was in town briefly and needed a hair cut, wasn't looking for anything to fancy, just needed a trim. I came in, and as soon as we got started I was sure I was in for a EXPENSIVE hair cut. Everything was fantastic, hands down one of the best haircuts I've had in years. But as it's turns out it was incredibly budget friendly. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in cville"

"First time visiting, and love the haircut I got. More importantly, Ben has been extremely careful, and I would say he spent twice as much as time as most barbers do with your hair. The price at this barber shop is also reasonable. If you are a native Chinese speaker, you can communicate with the barber in Chinese, and I treat that as a huge bonus."

"I love coming to KS Hair Studio because they do a great job at a great price. It is cash only, but there is an ATM inside for customers. I've seen more men come in than women, but I feel comfortable as a female being there. There is no check in so it's first come first serve. Some other similarly priced locations made me feel less confident in what they do. I like getting my hair cut short, even if it's longer and KS did the job perfectly and I never felt judged for making that choice. The cut was quick and professional. Also, I appreciate not feeling like I need to chat throughout my visit like some salons. Great cuts, great price, great environment."
