"My haircut and style was the total opposite of what I asked for. Clearly there were communication issues. However the haircut was good for what she wanted to do, just not what I wanted. The shampoo chairs are very uncomfortable. Feels like you're going to slide right off the chair. Also, as mentioned by another reviewer, my stylist engaged in little to no conversation with me, but conversed quite a bit with the other stylist in another language. I think that was just rude."

"This is the best hair salon we have been to. My step mom took me there to get highlights, my hair looks fabulous! Chriselia and her mom were super nice and professional! I had a great experience at this hair studio."

"This lady tried to over charge me several times and then fought with me when I complained about it! She uses cheap products that damage your hair. I asked for a wash out color one time and she used permanent dye that was not coming out and damaged my hair and my normal stylist all the way in another state had to repair it! I do not recommend this salon to anyone. Chriselia is a very inexperienced stylist. She also has her young teenage daughter working as one of the stylists and she has no certification!"

"My daughter wanted her hair highlighted and I went against my friends suggestions to go to other salons and chose this one instead. Beautiful salon, conveniently located by Starbucks (who doesn’t love a delicious coffee while getting their hair done), and it’s easy to find. Parking was a little tight, but it was a busy part of the day so to be expected. Id like to exemplify again how beautiful this salon is decorated inside. Hands down 10/10. When I initially made the appointment, I requested full head highlights. Upon arriving, she asked my 12 year old daughter, instead of me, what she wanted done to her hair and suggested balayage, cut and style. Which tacked on much more than I anticipated to pay. This was my daughters first time to a salon ever, of course I couldn’t say no. I didn’t appreciate being put into that position with my daughter present when I had already stated what I wanted done. Not wanting to be the grinch towards my daughter, I agreed. Elia had little to no conversation with us for almost 3 hours-maybe 3 sentences max. It was awkwardly quiet. I get that people may have bad days but, Elia was happy and talkative to the other stylist and clients that came in. I’ve never been to a salon with a hair stylist that barely said a word, especially for such a long appointment & with new clients. I gave up trying to converse with her after a few attempts, so my daughter and I played along and just stayed quiet. Feeling unwelcome is a huge understatement. While she was giving my daughter a quick trim after the highlights were washed, my daughter asked if she could have her bangs cut too. Elia replied “No because that’s not what you asked for”. (Skip forward to later that evening, I spent a total of 2 minutes giving her the bang cut she wanted) We continued to stay awkwardly quiet. Upon leaving she carefully put each dollar amount in for the services she did during the appointment, didn’t say a word to us, no goodbye- and had her daughter finish ringing us up. Overall, I didn't feel a sense of welcome. I would have overlooked the hustle for more services and spending more, and not cutting her bangs, if we had felt welcome. A little bit of kindness goes a long way. If i had known I’d be spending a significant amount more, and that the hair stylist wouldn’t engage in any conversation with us, I would have taken my business elsewhere. If I had new clients I would ensure they felt valued and eagerly encourage their return. I guess this salon has so many clients that it doesn’t matter if some of us don’t return, so why spend anymore effort in making us feel welcome when our business isn’t needed and if anything-you’ll feel like you’re an inconvenience to her.
