"I can happily say that I love both my cut and color. It wasn’t exactly what I came in with as inspiration but the stylist was honest about the damage that would occur to achieve the look I initially wanted. I am giving 3 stars for the fact that her conversation and situational awareness needs some work. At least 2 times during the service she said quite hurtful and derogatory things. One was about Australia being dangerous because of the aboriginal population… it’s literally their land and they’ve been pushed out of it. Then during the wash she asked again if I usually wear my hair curly or straight. I answered curly but for the photos I had planned I didn’t want to leave my curls to chance and straightening would be easier. She then responds with yeah she agrees and has about the same texture as myself but always wears it straight because it’s more “polished”. My curls are beautiful and I prefer them. All textures of hair and style are polished. As someone who struggled for a long time to accept my hair for the crown that it is that was hurtful to hear while someone had the fate of your hair in their hands. The rest of her conversation with us talking about the men in our lives and military life went fine. Please just take a look in on yourself and do better."

"Arrived at 20 minutes before the top of the hour (7 PM) and was greeted warmly on this 47° degree F Evening. Stylist Eryn and her co-worker were ready to handle any haircut style I wanted, this much seemed quite clear. Changing things up a bit, I asked for a haircut to accommodate a style-it-forward (brushing back to front) haircut and asked for it to be 'Wash-n-Go' easy to care for. Eryn nailed the cut and styling precisely with complete confidence! ~ We all chatted about Thanksgivings past and the similarities or differences between families today or in YEARS gone by. Quite the good, early December experience! ~ I will visit the Hair Cuttery again."

"Great salon experience with Deanne at Loehmann’s Plaza Hair Cuttery. She was professional, friendly, and confident. She gave me a thorough consultation and provided me with pricing for the services I requested. She did an amazing job on my partial highlights and haircut! The only criticism I have is that she was unable to use heat to process my highlights. I would have preferred a bit more lift and lighter highlights but she couldn’t put me under the hooded dryer. Therefore, my highlights are more subtle than I would have liked. Apparently, Hair Cuttery has a “no heated processing policy.”"
