"Been coming to this shop since 2018. Sonia is very sweet and kind, and always has been. I've only ever had box braids and senegalese twist but they are always done well and I receive many compliments. I recently got my hair done and ended up leaving very disappointed. Now I'm used to a pretty full shop and it will seem like they overbook (they kind of do) but crazy enough it seems they always get everyone out. After a while you get used to an appointment that was supposed to be at 9AM start at 10:15AM and 5 different people braiding your hair. For me, getting out of the chair by 2PM-3PM works for me but this past week that wasn't the case. I was advised 9 but didn't have my head worked on till 10:30AM and I didn't leave the shop until 6PM. There were a few stops, which isn't a big deal but I only got up once and around 4pm I began to lose my patience. There was some confusion with another client about a particular stylist doing her hair and the dramatics should have occurred outside. -Stop asking for deposits and you are not showing on time to appointments that you set. It makes no sense. -Please manage your appointments and how you book much better. One of the best shops in the area. With a few adjustments it will be even better."

"On January 25,2023 I came in and got Senegalese twist (Midback Length). I did schedule 2 days before and paid $25 deposit. I arrive @ 9:56am my appointment was @ 10am . I come in, say I have appointment a lady told me to sit down . It’s already 2 people in a chair and another girl waiting .I decided to walk outside like 10:15am , the lady comes outside Knock on my car window asking was I leaving and that Sonia(the owner) was on the way she had to stop and get hair. I told her I was waiting ou here. 10:45am she pulling up so I get out car walk in shop. She told me to sit down and she started parting my hair. The young lady who waiting before me got told sit down in a chair too . It was 3 stylist at that time then another lady who I guess just braids hair down came in . Then another lady walked in who needed her hair done . It was like 4 people on my hair but not at once . One of the lady’s came braided 3 section in half way then stop . I understand they job but why have so many people at once was not smart . After 4 days braids just started falling out when I don’t understand when I paid $240 total. I didn’t leave out until 7pm. The lady who was braiding my hair down kept getting on he phone the whole time then they stop again switch so the other lady can do the last section .Then the boss started braiding my hair done . Then other girl came back and cut and dip my hair . I wouldn’t recommend you going here and I won’t every again . I went to the one in college park Virginia beach. I don’t mind waiting but I don’t like slot of people on my head even madder my braids stared falling out . I wrap my hair and everything ,it’s no way my hair she be like this."
