"My experience wasn't so luxury! I was recommended to Ronnesha by Bernice for a service due to her being unavailable. I decided to schedule an appointment based off this recommendation. My experience was absolutely abhorrent! Her work space was filthy. She didn't listen well at all. I expressed to her I didn't want my closure glued down and her response was that's just how it had to be. I've never had a stylist force me to do something to my hair after I declined. The stylist was very unresponsive when contacted, but ironically stayed on the phone the length of my service. This caused her to burn my forehead with a straightening comb in which I sustained a 3rd degree burn the size of a quarter that needed medical attention. I was more than disquieted! I had a scheduled photoshoot and a gala to attend in a matter of two days. Her response was more than lackluster since she acted as though it wasn't a huge deal. She even continued her phone conversation after. Her response to me was that, "I've burned myself plenty of times and it would go away". As if that really meant something to me. Once the service ended she tried to over charge me due to some discrepancy on her website. I expected a different level of customer service, but clearly I was mistaken. I had to ask her for a refund since she never offered to discount my service. She then proceeded to tell me the following day that, she usually didn't issue refunds, but she could only give me a partial(half) refund, because she still did the work and offered a free service in the future. As if I would ever revisit this place. However, she issued a refund but it still wasn't for half my service. Also, when I took my hair down from the quickweave glue was all over my hair. Please be aware when patronizing here! I would post the pictures of the burn, but it's embarrassing. Truly was the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Update: Though, my experience was very poor. I want to acknowledge that Bernice reached out to me immediately to not only apologize for my experience, but to issue a refund for the remainder of my service. As well an additional service in the future. She exhibited a level of customer service and ownership that is greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your empathy!"

"Per Baya Knowles review... Her braids were SOAKING WET (not sure how the stylist missed it).. as many times as I've had sew ins I know the way its suppose to be maintained. Not sitting under the dryer to completely dry the braids isn't the way. She also has two tracks hanging out of her head.. the hair is now ruined because of the stylist lack of proper maintenance. I was definitely going to book with Bernice for my upcoming style.. but I am so glad that I witnessed Baya's experience first. Oh and not to mention she also BLOCKED Baya from booking after she brought to her attention that she messed her hair up. How professional is that? So she KNEW she had did wrong... don't waste your money at either location."
