"I have been contemplating getting a Brazilian for quite some time but was terrified because of what I had heard about the pain. A few months ago, I asked some folks for their opinions and recommendations, and Smooth was one of the top pics (as well as Starla). So, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get one done. Long story short, from the first point of arrival to the end, the process was amazing. Nova was extremely welcoming and cheerful and Starla was amazing in keeping my nerves calm. I don't necessarily consider myself to have a really high pain tolerance, but 10/10 - I would do this again. All in all, there were maybe 2-3 "ouch" points, but it wasn't like an unbearable experience by any means. Following my session, I immediately signed up for the membership - I'm not using a razor from here on out. Smooth Downtown is phenomenal!"

"At smooth my second appointment I couldn’t make it. Trying to get in contact is an absolute frustrating experience. Nobody answers. If you need to reschedule they will not answer the phone or respond to voicemails but still charged me $65 for an appointment I did not attend. They don’t work with you if you have emergency. Quickest way to lose customers is when you take their money and not provide anything in return. This is so bad business. If the person who answers the phone just ignores you your screw and will be charged. When you reach out on the email provided they want you to prove yourself to receive YOUR money back but yet they failed on their end as a business providers and haven’t done their job. I will take this matter into court."

"Wow, 5 stars is not enough for this place! I heard so many good things about this place and decided to come for a Brazilian and it was amazing! I have had Brazilian before my visit to smooth and in the past appointment at other waxer it is normally a fast and quick 15 minutes but here at smooth my waxer Hannah made sure no hair was left behind and I love that! 10/10 recommend!"

"This place is tooooo cute! I've been having a hard time looking for a place to get waxed on this side of the HRBT and I finally found it! Walking in was so welcoming. The staff at the front desk gave me a tour of the place and explained all of their membership options in the most casual conversation. I went to Shivanna for my waxing needs and she is AMAZING! Professional but super friendly so the comfort level was outstanding! Only complaint is how long it took me to find this place!"

"They’re rescheduling and cancellation is ridiculous and very unaccommodating. I work for the military and I just needed to reschedule for the following day. However, they want to charge $51. That’s way too high for a cancellation fee regarding for common services like a Brazilian. I’ve been coming to SMOOTH since 2017 off and on and I’ve noticed the quality of services doesn’t even render same for the pricing they’re still charging people. The level of professionalism has gone down as well. It’s like to people working there really don’t care enough improve the quality of their customer service. In my opinion, the customer service isn’t high enough to equal the price points and services offered. With the over talking between employees heard from the wait room or in between their appointments it doesn’t feel like I’m in a spa. It seems like everybody’s on a summer job before they either go back to school or college. Meanwhile I am paying almost $150 for Brazilian, and I always get a treatment afterwards. It makes me feel like I’m overpaying I use to enjoy going there for the items in the front store to add on but they’re picked over and over priced. Honestly unless they lower the price points and change the cancellation fee, it’s not worth it."
