"Walk-ins and great cuts! Brought my 92 year old mom here after a slew of sub par cuts. It was close to home and they said they’d do a walk in even though it was almost quitting time. The stylist took her time asking my mom lots of questions about how she’d like it cut and it definitely paid off. My mom can be a tough customer but she was over the moon with the cut. We will definitely be back!!"

"My mother, my husband and I all went yesterday for haircuts and my mother and I both had our hair dyed and had some highlights put in. All three of us were extrememly happy with the results. They do not accept any type of cards so needing cash was a little of an inconvenience, but it was worth it. The ladies there are very professional, while remaining friendly and we actually had a good time getting our hair done. We will definately be returning!"

"This has been the only place I've gone to get my hair done, since I found it four or five years ago. The owner is always on site, and she is very willing to accommodate your schedule. She and her staff are extremely friendly and warm. She will give you an honest opinion if you seek advice. She will definitely try to persuade you away from doing something that could potentially be damaging or harmful to your hair. The prices are the best around, and honestly I'd pay more. I now travel from another county to go see her. Her long time loyal client base speaks for itself. I recommend Sheer Genius to people all the time, and I will continue to."

"4-17-2017, I went to the salon one day and asked how much for color and highlights. I was told by Sam it would cost 60.00. So I made an appointment. I arrived, got color while she did a cut, a perm and my hair all at the same time. Then two young girls, ages 14 and I believe 18, blew my hair dry and then curled it. They did a great job, but I wasn't expecting young girls to do my hair. Then when it was time to pay, I was charged 178.00. My hair was suppose to be blond highlighted. Well, I left the salon and each person I came in contact, asked me why did I dye my hair gray. I am very upset. Not only was I charged 118 dollars more than what I was told. I now have GRAY highlights. I do NOT recommend this "salon". The hair cuts may be cheap, but the cuts are uneven and you are told one thing and end up with another. I will NOT go back there and will NOT recommend to other."
