"I have gone quite a few times, My first having my hair done "blow out" and I had no expectations, My hair came out very straight and it costed bout $45 dollars (but ive heard others have paid less?) - my hair was so dry and it caused breakage afterward. =/ Waaaay too hot even for a Dominican blowout. The negatives are. They can come off as rude- as I think they do not speak a ton of english, or they pretend not to- im not sure. I have gotten burned, and it has left a scar on my forehead and neck. They stuck me under the dryer- I was the only customer and then sat down to look at the phone, It took me around 4 hours to get my hair done- So I almost had to plan most of my day to just sit. One time I came they had no hot water, but since I was so desperate and had a limited schedule, I sat through it anyway. I try to be nice and leave a tip, even after all of this, they only accept cash tips- last time I went. I have since found another salon- Lavish Charm Hair Salon off of Iron bridge and I love it, my hair gets loved, I dont get burned, and it has grown 4 inches and breakage is pretty much gone- (besides when I mess it up) I think I would advise natural haired ladies to stay far away from this particular place, as it causes a ton of damage and its just not worth it."
"The customer service is the worse. It's difficult to communicate because the stylist speak and understand very little English and I speak and understand very little Spanish so that barrier seems to cause the stylist to have a nasty attitude. They wave their hands at you in a dismissive manner when you telling them that the dryer is to hot and it's burning your scalp or that you hair is dry. I've been 3 times and each time they were rude."
"Horrible experience. This is my FIRST review ever. I do not like bashing on other people’s business, but wow, if you are reading this, go somewhere else. These ladies need social skills. They are rude and socially awkward. I had the last chair lady; short, obese, and mouth-breather. Not trying to insult, but unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, and these characteristics are what I remember. She kept burning my ear with the hot brush and pulled my hair so hard, that my scalp still hurts, 2 days after. NEVER AGAIN!"
"Its ok for the most part as long as you are clear about the services you desire. I wasn't happy yesterday. I got there at 6pm, to make a long story short at 7:30 my hair wasn't dry on the ends...but she removed me from the dryer and styled my hair anyway. By the time I got home my hair was bushy like I'd never been to a salon. The deep conditioner was perfect tho... I was disappointed...."
