"I couldn’t have been happier with work FBJ weddings did for me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and MIL at my wedding. I personally worked with Jasmin who was amazing! She did my hair and makeup for my trial and day of. She created the exact look I was going for and made me feel so beautiful. She was willing to make any adjustments I wanted and really wanted to make sure I was happy with not only my look, but that of my entire party. She graciously provided any touchups needed to my party even if they had been done by another artist. She was wonderful and I can’t recommend her enough. The other artists we had doing services were Amanda P and Rebecca who were also amazing. "As a curly haired girl, it was very important to me to find someone who could make me look natural while keeping my frizz down. FBJ did a great job. My wife, our bridesmaids, and I all looked fabulous. Our hair and makeup stayed in place despite dancing the night away and profusely sweating during the spring heat. However, on the day of, there were massive organization issues with the team. We had two separate dressing rooms on opposite sides of our museum venue (one for my wife and her bridesmaids, one for me and my bridesmaids). There was a hair artist and a makeup artist stationed in each dressing room. Despite providing information on which girls would be where, the team got mixed up (which happens! It was a lot of people!). However, when this confusion was realized that their list did not seem to match up with the girls in the particular room, there was no flexibility. They kept sending girls to the other dressing room which was on the complete opposite side of the large museum. With this there was little communication and my wife's bridesmaids were late for their "getting ready" pictures despite having a hair/makeup team member in the room with them. Because of this, my wife only has a few professional pictures with her bridesmaids. Instead of "swapping" the correct people, the team members stationed in my wife's dressing room were on their phones or chatting amongst themselves. Everyone ended up looking fabulous but it definitely made for a stressful situation with very confused bridesmaids when it felt like the problem could be easily fixed. We ran into another day of issue as well. My wife and I were paying for all of our bridesmaid's hair and makeup. False eyelashes were an extra fee (which again- totally fine!) but without discussing it with us, they offered them to our bridesmaids which put makeup outside of the budget we set with them. I ended up having to venmo the makeup artists for the eyelashes they offered to the bridesmaids on the day of the wedding. The quality of the service provided was excellent, my advice if you are working with them would be to have a small bridal party or be sure to communicate early on your day of! We assumed all would be fine since it was correct in the spreadsheet they gave us but we were wrong. They are all lovely people, very kind, and everyone had a blast working with them despite the communication errors. I would still highly recommend them and they worked great with my makeup sensitive wife and my unruly curly hair. I felt like a fairy princess with my updo."

She was always on time (if not early), worked with my curly hair, and was committed to giving me the natural look I wanted (something that other MUAs just couldn't get right in trials). Maddie was professional, clean/safe (in regards to COVID specifically) and a good time in the bridal suite! She was punctual and ahead to our timeline which is always a good thing!
