"We went here today after seeing a post on Facebook about some new GF options and we were blown away! The employees were so nice and confident about items being safe for someone with celiac. They had multiple cakes that were gf- we got the rainbow cake and it was amazing. Also, they have cannolis- both regular cream and chocolate chip- those were a piece of heaven! We both had a cafe late with oat milk and butter rum flavor; some of the best coffee in the area. They also have gf black & white cookies, gf biscotti, and tons of options for lunch and dinner. I can’t wait to go back here."
"I have been going to this restaurant since it has opened and normally consider it a treat to go. However, I have recently been disappointed with what I have purchased here. For my husbands birthday in October I purchased their smallest tiramisu cake. All totaled the cake was around 50 dollars. THIS WAS THE PRICE OF THE SMALLEST CAKE! Around a week ago, I ordered 2 pounds of assorted Italian cookies and, because it was too late before Christmas to order a cake, I ordered a tiramisu log. My bill totaled around 60 dollars. I packaged the cookies for neighbors before sampling them. ONCE I DID, I WAS EMBARRASSED THAT I GAVE THEM AS GIFTS. They were dry and tasteless. The most disappointing thing that happened was when my husband brought the tiramisu cake/log home. I can’t remember the exact cost of this cake but my total order with the cake and cookies was around 60 dollars. The “cake”/log was maybe 8 inches long/2 inches wide(see attached photo with scale). There were no lady fingers in it as promised and mostly whipped cream. The cake/log was enough for maybe 3 or 4 people. To me the quality of the food we have ordered is not what I have experienced in the past. But the main point of this review is to highlight the prices that are being charged. The prices are ASTRONOMICAL AND RIDICULOUS for the amount of food you actually get. It’s almost unethical. It takes a lot for me to give an unsatisfactory review, but here I am. In the past this was one of my favorite restaurants."
"So this place was featured on Diner’s, Drive Ins, and Dives….it didn’t disappoint. Flavor and execution are 110% there. “Another” review will not do it justice, this is a first hand experience you have to go through in person. The calamari was superbly done, light, flaky, seasoned and crisp. The lasagna with lamb was out of this world, the flavors of the lamb, the fresh cheese, and the acidity of the sweet sauce just melded to make a unique flavor. The DDD Stuffed Meatball was gigantic in size and flavor, a simple dish done simply right. Nothing over the top, good pasta, a hearty sauce packed with flavor….and a giant stuffed meatball. Awesome!! The Alfredo pasta was just that, a build your own dish. However, the flavors were there, creamy butter sauce and cheese with chicken and mushrooms. Just a good hearty meal. The bakery is on its A game. The lobster tails pastry are phenomenal. Cannot pass the pastries up. Definitely a must stop. Highly recommended!"
"I went here for lunch. I haven't been here since the fire. I loved their Chicken Parm before the fire but it tastes different now. It tasted watery and tasted like it didn't have a lot of garlic. The waitress was fine but not available especially if you want a refill on your drink. I bought some cookies and they were really good. They have a more extensive dessert selection. I am not sure I will come back."
