"Every time I return to my hometown I visit this great restaurant which has been in business for over 40 years. My family really enjoyed several large pizzas with the works and extra mushrooms. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I had to sneak a steak calzone a few days later before my return to northern Virginia. This particular location is located in the west end of Radford, but there are several more locations available in which to satisfy your cravings!"

"Business lunch with an out of town guest. We arrived before lunch rush. Had our orders very quickly, had one more join us at the table late, and his meal was brought out within minutes. We were all complety satisfied with the quality of our meals. Attentive service, good value, large portions (and a box to take away if needed). Can't go wrong eating here!"

"First time visiting w local friends. Got there early to beat the Fri crowd. So glad we did because by the time we left it was limited seating. Owner stopped by a couple of times to make sure all was well. Really enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer and hot fresh bread. I don't like calamari enough to eat more than 2 pieces, but let me tell you, I ate my fair share tonight. We ordered a Specialty Primavera Pizza, our friends ordered the Veal Parm and the Salmon Bella which they enjoyed. The dishes looked delish from where I was sitting. Overall look of the restaurant was homey. The waitstaff was very attentive and cute to watch. They were the owners family members. I loved the decor, the nostalgic art work and the overall layout of the tables and booths. Plenty of room for patrons and waitstaff to move around w out colliding into ea. other. I hear there are other ext. of Sals that meet the local area needs. Highly recommend checking them out also. Looking for to going back and try something else on the menu on my next trip to VA."
