Reviews of Casey Volkswagen
"Had a great service visit at Casey Volkswagen! My advisor Evan was very kind and efficient with getting my vehicle put through service. My car takes extra care when being maintenanced and he made sure that it was done properly. I can't thank him enough for easing my worries!"
"I'm giving it ONE star because it forces you to give a rating, but I personally would leave ZERO STARS! DO NOT RECOMMEND Not my first bad experience with Casey VW unfortunately! I honestly wish I would have NEVER purchased from them. My most recent bad experience was that I scheduled a state inspection and then asked them to see if there was anything need while I was down there because I live in Virginia Beach (Redmill area) and didn't want to make ANOTHER trip down there if it could all be done all at once. So I dropped off my car and left to meet a friend and got a text saying that my car was ready for pickup and the amount due was $479.81. I understand regular maintenance is needed based on the mileage and the year of my car; but I never got a call asking if I was ok with the charge. If there was something that could wait to have done later. Nothing. When I called my service guy back he basically said yeah, it needed to be done so we did it. What if I didn't have the money? What would have happened? I certainly was NOT expecting to have to drop almost $500 on my car that day. Anyway, thankfully I had the money and paid it and left. I forgot to mention that I made a Saturday appointment because like most people I work M-F also in VB. So Sunday when I turn on my car my check engine light comes on! So I call them today to express my concern because A) the distance and B) the amount of money I just paid to have it get a clean bill of health for my state inspection! Of course they want me to bring it in to have them look at further inconveniencing me and no Saturday appointments for big jobs like that. So I would have to take an entire day off because just to get an oil change takes half a day there. When we bought the car, Casey was the lowest price, because we shopped around which is why we went with them living so far. But let me tell you...as the saying goes "Cheaper isn't always better!" We were looking to buy a car for our daughter and I would have bought from Casey had I not had pervious bad experiences with them so we ended up buying her a little used Ford Focus from Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake. Well...they treated us like we bought a Tesla! What a difference all around! They came to our house to do a mobile check on her car once and another time they did a mobile oil change and checked her tire pressure all in my drive way! I absolutely LOVE my VW Atlas, LOVE IT!!! Would love to buy one again but never, will I ever buy from Casey again. EVER. I understand ONE unhappy customer doesn't make or break a company but its been an ongoing trend for me and I wouldn't recommend them to any of my family and friends."
"Took my car in to get looked at and was recommended $3k worth of work. One of the things was something I had repaired by Casey 6 months prior. No warranty? To make things worse, I left my car over the weekend since I was unable to drop it off on the day of service due to work reasons, they didn't bother to secure my car and left my rear window cracked! I called to talk to the service manager and he reached back out a few hours later and proceeded to blame me for leaving it open! I don't roll them down since my headliner is sagging. Once the car is in your possession, it's the dealership's responsibility to ensure the car is completely secured. Water stains down my door and my floor was soaked. I was told by the Service Manager to bring the car down and he'd have his detail guys clean it up. It's not safe to drive with the issues it has. I repeated this a few times and I just got some story about his wife leaving his car door open and he had a similar water issue and to just bring it down. So I just fixed it myself. I pulled a good amount of water out (attaching pics, the towel I used is thick and it absorbed enough to drench it). I wish I could leave zero stars. Avoid this service department at all costs. Take your business to Euro Pro's or German Autowerks who quoted me almost half of what Casey wanted to charge."
"FANTASTIC experience at Casey VW! Make sure you ask for Jason Rowley if you go. He was the best salesman I have ever worked with. From start to finish, Jason made our experience extraordinary. Very laid back, no pressure, very knowledgeable. It felt like we had brought a friend with us to the lot to help us pick out a car. I will go to Jason for all of our car needs going forward, although we hope to keep the car we have for a very long time. He helped us pick out a great car at a great price. I could not find another dealership to beat the deal we ended up with. His manager, Rudy Medina (the big guns), was great to work with as well. He kept his promises and there were no surprises when it came time to sign. I signed paperwork with William Hooper. He was very thorough and very patient. He made sure I understood exactly what Casey was offering and what I was signing. Overall great experience. I definitely recommend!"
"I'd like to give a special shoutout to Thaddeus, the salesman who assisted me in purchasing my new car. Thaddeus went above and beyond to make my car buying experience exceptional. His extensive knowledge about the car and its features, along with his friendly and professional demeanor, made me feel confident in my choice. Thaddeus, thank you for your outstanding service and for being an integral part of my satisfaction with this purchase. Another noteworthy aspect of my new car purchase was the fantastic trade-in value offered for my old car. The dealership provided an offer that exceeded my expectations and made the transition to the new vehicle even smoother. This generous trade-in value played a significant role in my decision and overall satisfaction with the purchase. It's clear that the dealership is committed to providing excellent service not only in sales but also in trade-in options, which I greatly appreciated."
