"I went to Dr. Parker to get a filling replaced that Konikoff had previously done. He joked about what a great job he did. When I got home and the medication wore off the pain was terrible. I returned. He did NOT expect me back. He proceeded to say that he hit the nerve and that I would now need a root canal. The pain was so intense! His assistant gave me a price of $1200! I signed just to get the work done and ease the pain. He told me that I had a root canal on the exact tooth on the other side and that most likely I would need it done eventually on this one now. He made excuses for himself. During the beginning of the root canal he told me I had infection in there. I had NO problems or pain with my tooth before I went there. He sent me home and told me to come back in 2 weeks to finish the root canal. Since this has happened the tooth broke off, I had to go on antibiotics, had severe pain, and had to visit an Endodontist. A severe abscess had formed. The Endodontist finished the root canal and sent me to an oral surgeon to extract the tooth because it could not be saved. The tooth had a vertical crack along one of the roots. The surgeon removed the tooth and when this is all over I will be paying around $4000 for everything, including a crown. I went in for a minor procedure and ended up paying for something that could've been prevented. I do not recommend Dr. Parker because during my 2 visits with him he was condescending, rude, and pushy! Very harsh when giving the numbing medications, very painful!"
