"The actual dental work was fine, but at the end of my cleaning I was told they were going to put fluoride on my teeth. There was no mention about an additional charge, or a question about whether I wanted it or not, but when I got ready to check out, I was told that I had to pay $27. I said that I had not been asked about doing this, but was told by the receptionist that my insurance required it. When I checked with my insurance they indicated that this was not the case. When I called to inquire I was told that it was the Fashing-McCoy practice that required it. If this is the case, patients should be apprised of this fact when cleanings are scheduled. I might well have agreed to the fluoride treatment had I been told the price, but simply assuming that fact is totally inappropriate."

"I don't like going to the dentist so I had not been for 12 years. A friend told me this was the place to go, like a good friend I made my appointment that day. I got their every one was friendly I chose to wait outside and it was not a problem. When it was my turn (on time) the assistant was a calming force for me she talk to help me relax and when the dentist came in she was super nice and understanding. She explained everything she was doing and after 2 hours and two fillings I felt better and I will be returning, my appointment is already made."

I have also never had an issue with billing before. I never thought I’d say this, but I no longer dread going to the dentist! Elaine is wonderful and I really enjoy talking to her. She is gentle with the cleanings and she makes the appointments go by so quickly. I have seen all three dentists and they are all lovely. I will be taking my daughter here for her first visit because I know they will do an exceptional job."
