Reviews of Hudson Raidah DDS
"The doctor has always been patient explaining things to me. I like her little practice much better than the mega dentist offices where you always seem to have to wait a long time."
"I did not like this dentist at all, but the front desk receptionist and dental hygienists are wonderful! I don’t see how they work with/for such a mean person, and there is only one dentist in this practice. I had Medicaid and a government phone and when I mentioned having a government phone in our conversation, Dr Hudson made a smart remark about me having it. Lady, I can’t be rich like you can, okay? Some of us need help especially during Covid. When she checked my teeth for cavities, she TAPPED each tooth with that small metal mirror thing she uses to check behind the teeth including the teeth that were painful. And these weren’t soft taps either, I was afraid she would break my teeth! What kind of dentist does that!?! A normal dentist with morals will use light air to check for pain, not tap the teeth with a metal instrument! And when she has to numb you prior to a procedure, she sticks the needle inside of your gums and mouth with NO NUMBING medication first and she does it rough with no warning!! One time she did a small filling on my teeth without numbing me first. I don’t know if this office has a budget issue or if I was being targeted for having government assistance and/or for being a minority, but it sure felt that way to me. I don’t know how she treats other patients but this is just my experience. The only positive out of being her patient was this: they responded to emergencies quickly and allowed you to be seen the same day to get the issue taken care of. She then promptly provided prescriptions of antibiotics to control the pain. That is the only thing I liked. I recently stopped seeing her as my dentist, and I am forever scarred because of what I went through in this office."
"The “doctor” was rude and unprofessional. she rolled her eyes when I asked questions. Years ago, I had a negative experience with her and her staff. I only returned today to bring someone else to their appointment with her. She didn’t know the current patient’s birthday or relatively important information regarding the patient. Years later and the practice hasn’t changed. I reported her behavior as well."
"Found this dentist 5 years ago when seeking a second opinion on some work that I was told that I needed by a previous dental provider. Not only did Dr. Hudson tell me that the work was unnecessary, even if I would have needed it she quoted a cost significantly more competitive than what I was told by the other DDS. Since then I have made them my main dental provider. Never had any issues with their work or staff and they have even gone above & beyond in fights with the insurance companies to save me from out-of-pocket costs. Always able to schedule around my workday and very quick to respond to any requests/messages."
"Horrible! I have been here twice & both times were miserable! I went the first time & she tool x-rays & then said I needed a root canal. After that said she wanted to do a cleaning except instead of brushing my teeth she use the motorized pick tool & scraped my teeth which would be okay even though I didn't want her too if she didn't proceed to use the regular pick to tap on each tooth to check for cavities when she already did xrays & told me where the cavities were. Then I grimaced in pain as she was doing it & she said "This is an adult appointment it's going to hurt, if you can't handle it find another dentist." (& to my knowledge she is a family practice dentistry.) I then stood up & said thank you, I will. This visit was in 2011. Then presently (2013) I went to her. (not realizing who I was going to I just google searched a dentistry close to my work.) & upon arrival realized who it was & what I was in for. I came in & they took me back as normal, then had me put my things (wallet, keys, coat, etc.) in a small wooden chair in the corner of the room. The Dental Hygenist then said she will be with you soon & left so I checked my phone that had been going off from family members asking about my appointment & wishing me well. She came in reached into my lap & said "I'm gonna put this away for you." as though I was a child. (I am 21 years old.) She did not ask she simply took it & did so. I ignored it & chalked it up to me being jaded from prior experience. She then did the xrays & did the same as before even though I asked her not to. I asked her if it were neccessary & she came back with the remark "Not if you brushed your teeth the way you should." (Even though I brush my teeth every morning & night.) Then when I left my Mom had come. (I wasn't aware however, the front desk notified the dentist.) So when we went out there is asked me to get my Mother from the waiting room. I advised her my Mom was disabled she then just opened the door that separated the 2 rooms & began to speak to my Mother. (My Mom being who she is walked over with her cane so that they would not be shouting my personal business across the waiting room."
